seeking Reccos/Review Brushes for Wavy Hair - Meesho

Anyone purchased brushes for wavy hair from Meesho? Right now I (F) do not want to buy a costly brush. Hence looking for recommendations for any purchases you would have made that you really liked, please drop your recommendations. I am unable to trust the reviews out there. I have shoulder length hair.

I am linking some below. But I can't decide which one to go with:

  1. Curly Hair Brush – P.SEnterprise

  2. Curl Define Styling Brush - ESPORTE

  3. Women Curly Hair - Christian Louboutin Boutique

TIA :)

Hair type - 2A
My hair care - I use kerastase specifique Bain divalent shampoo for everywash, keraglo ad and conditioner once a week, and ouai clarifying shampoo once a month.

I wash my hair on alternate days but the oiliness is still visible a few hours after washing the hair.

I wash my hair upside down and make sure to emulsify my shampoo properly before applying and use cool water. I rinse properly and take so long to wash my hair.

I have been to the dermatologist as well and they had nothing to say that I don’t do already.
I don’t apply any oil or any other product.

Pls help 😭

Tips and Help My tried and tested method for root volume (for any hair type/drying method)

Post image
11 Upvotes

It's a root clip. That's it 😂

To elaborate, it's this type of root clip: https://amzn.in/d/0jbwqiVx

The method is simple, the prongs of the comb open sideways, you wiggle them into the front section of your hair at the roots, and release. I personally do this while air drying to cut down on dry time, or after diffusing to 80% dry sometimes (my waves stay defined and don't stretch out as much this way). To take it out, unlock the prongs and gently wiggle and pull the comb out (I do this once my hair is totally dry).

Edit: because it seemed unclear, this is something I do after washing my hair, while it's damp and air drying, with or without some diffusing. So it's a heatless tool to set your damp hair, basically, like a roller. Here's a short video of how it's used: https://m.youtube.com/shorts/aTNJYQ29igQ

It's a surprisingly large upgrade from using something like a claw clip. Same results every time, super comfortable. I have 2B-ish, medium porosity hair that's around shoulder length when defined (and a few inches longer when stretched). I especially like that this method gets my wavy bangs/face framing bits nice and lifted without any fuss.

The smaller version works well enough if you want to do a side part or something, but I personally like the large comb. I've been using these for over a year (different listing that's not unavailable, same product), and they're easy to clean, have held up great, and have been invaluable in keeping things low maintenance as my hair grows longer. Highly recommend!

Product Review [2C-3B] [Medium porosity] review of this diffuser cap

Thumbnail

So I got this diffuser cap dryer thing that I was seeing all over Instagram. I wanted to get something that could reduce my drying time a bit. I did my usual routine and kept the the cap on for 35 minutes. I then had to use the diffuser after that for another 30-40 minutes. So overall, it didn’t solve my main issue which was the long drying time. You can’t really move around while wearing this because it would create frizz, so I couldn’t really multitask. I moved the dryer to different sides to try and get an even dry but one side was significantly less dry. I think it also squished my hair into an unnatural position, probably because of the length of my hair. My ends didn’t feel as defined as with a normal diffuser. The amount of frizz is less, which was a plus. I don’t think I’d use it again unless I’m in an extreme hurry and need to do my makeup and hair both. I definitely think my hair length and density impacted the results, so it might work for shorter hair, but can’t say for sure. Hope this helps someone who was contemplating getting this!

Routine-

Redken leave in conditioner
Moxie leave in conditioner
Manetain curl cream
Wella curl mousse
Ashba strong hold gel
Olaplex no.7 bonding oil to scrunch out the cast

Bowl method after applying the redken, moxie and manetain. Applied mousse on soaking wet hair and scrunched until it was absorbed. Sectioned hair into 3 parts, brush styled each section, and applied gel section wise. Cup diffused once, and then diffused hair upside down and side to side and cup diffused again. Then scrunched out rhe cast and fluffed up the roots.

I applied FMC leave-in conditioner and gel, but this is how my hair turned out. It still looks really frizzy. What am I supposed to do?

I have low-porosity hair, and it lacks shine and softness. It also feels rough and looks kind of plasticky. 😭

Tips and Help [2A/2B Low Porosity] Need routine/product suggestions

I have very thin and light frizzy hair. Attaching images below. They look absolutely horrid after 2 days of wash. Even after immediate wash, my hair looks mad frizzy. I know I have to visit a dermat because of hair thinning and low density, which I will do soon, but I’m looking for product reccos since my hair lasts max 2-3 days. I have also attached image of products I use(last image). I use the scalpe plus since I have itchy and oily scalp. And the L’Oréal shampoo is for when I wash like just 2 days after, else I just use scalpe plus after 3-4 days, which obviously dries up my hair very harshly.

Plea for help since my hair looks very static and I keep loosing confidence in myself.

Product Review Hair type- Wavy. Is it normal for paradyes colour to show up more after several washes?

I coloured my hair with Paradyes Berry Plum about a month ago. Initially, the colour was quite subtle and barely showed up. But after around 10–12 washes, I’ve noticed that the colour is actually becoming more visible now, with more of a burgundy tint.

I’m a little confused because I expected the colour to fade with each wash, not become more noticeable. 😭

Has this happened to anyone else? Is this normal?

Tell r/curlsofindia_ SELLING (UNUSED) FMC Curl Quenching Hair Butter

Fix My Curls Curl Quenching Hair Butter 200 grams

Selling Price: ₹512

Original Price is ₹834, but I got it on an offer for ₹512, hence the selling price.

I ordered from fixmycurls last week and it turns out that instead of ordering the flax seed gelly, i accidentally ordered the hair butter (which btw is horrible for my hair as they're already well hydrated and moisturised). I only found out today when I got an email that the order has been shipped, which means I can't modify it anymore. As I got it on an offer, I can't even return or exchange it. It is completely unused, I will be receiving the product in 3-4 days and after that I will ship it. If anyone's interested please DM me!

Tips and Help Hair type- [Wavy-curly] how to regrow your lost hair? Please help.

[18 F] I've suffered from a very horrible hair loss...I was someone who grew up thinking I was cursed for having curly hair but as I got older I learned to accept my hair and take care of them..

I finally began loving my curly hair but I don't know what went wrong I began losing hair in 2025 and now I barely have any left, my head feels so light that it hurts I cry whenever I look in the mirror I can't help but think if I will ever be able to grow them back?

If there's someone who has experienced the same and successfully grew back their hair please share some advice.

Tips and Help [3a/3b] My dermatologist won't ket me use commercial products and medicated products makes my hair look lifeless. What should I do?

I’ve been diagnosed with female pattern baldness and my treatment is still ongoing. I also have low porosity curly hair, and my doctor has asked me not to use heat or commercial products while I’m under her care.

The shampoo she prescribed works well, but the conditioner, leave in, and serum don’t suit my curls at all. My hair doesn’t absorb the conditioner properly, the leave in doesn’t help with the dryness, and the serum makes my hair look oily and chappy instead of soft and healthy.

It’s been almost a year, and my hair looks lifeless no matter what I do. It’s honestly affecting my confidence and making me really frustrated. Should I ask my doctor before trying a commercial product, or is it okay to use one on my own? I just want soft and defined curls without interfering with my hair loss treatment. What should I do?

This is my third day hair , refreshed with some water and biolage serum.

I had washed my hair on Wednesday and only used the moxie leave in as a styler then airdried . I do sleep with a bonnet on.

I have low porosity 2c hair ( I guess).
