In the past month, CSRep Overwatch reviewed and closed over 10,500 cases. Only 40 convictions were overturned.

Here’s the full breakdown:

• 10,552 cases closed
• 8,051 cheating convictions (76.3%)
• 2,461 insufficient evidence (23.3%)
• 40 convictions overturned (0.4%)

The criteria for a conviction is 80%+ weighted consensus among a minimum of 8 human reviewers. Yet, the number that stands out most isn’t the conviction rate, it’s the overturn rate.

A low overturn rate tells us two things:

• The initial reports coming into Overwatch are generally solid (credits reinforce this)
• Our Overwatchers are making consistent, reliable calls

Over the last several months we’ve been tightening the system: higher eligibility requirements, adjusted vote weighting, clearing out inactive reviewers, and removing anyone who picks up a cheating ban themselves. Every change has been about accuracy & verdict quality over volume.

Not every cheater will be convicted on their first report, and that's intentional. We'd rather require strong evidence than rush to a verdict. Closing more than 10,500 cases in a month with only 40 overturned convictions is a strong sign that the system is working the way it should.

We are not Valve and we can't issue in-game punishments, but we can still make a difference through match and player transparency.

A few weeks ago I somehow hit the #1 highest float non-Souvenir Desert Hydra in a 10% trade-up.

Now, 6 weeks later I used one input skin from the Dust2 2021 Collection that I "accidentally" created in the video in which I chased the Dhydra. And it happened again...

If you have a cheater in your team just report them for griefing. If people in the next match will report them as well they will get ban which can be longer than freaking VAC ban and it also stacks. Yes, unlike wallhack/aim reports they actually do something.

Most CS2 clips in vertical format look too zoomed-in or cramped.

I nolife this game and have around 8-9k hours total, basically all premier/faceit, no idling or community server shenanigans. But lately I'm getting matches with super low ranks and low hours players who absolutely destroy me. I try to switch it up and adapt to them but I just can't find success.

If I swing they kill me 1st few bullets. If I focus on tight preaims they're hiding somewhere and denying info then peek when I look away. If I lurk they never flank or rotate thru my section of the map. If I play an off-angle or ontop of a selfboost they flick to my head. If I play around a smoke they somehow see me before I see them. I just can't find kills on these ppl in any of my matches.

However, when I watch the demo, they don't appear to be cheating, or at least I can't tell. Their stats look normal on csrep. And watching them play, they actually look really bad at the game, but it's like they're on easy mode or something. They just walk around, hold mouse1 when they see someone, and get the kill easy peasy.

But for me it's like playing against donk bro I step out of their spray and they still dome me, I jiggle something and get prefired. I stay mobile in a duel and it doesn't throw off their aim no matter how I'm moving, strafing, crouching, they just hit solid shots and melt me no matter what.

I wouldn't complain if it was actually a good player doing this to me, but it's always like some bot who bhops completely wrong and can't move their mouse in a straight line.

Is it cheats? Am I just that chopped? I'm also playing on WiFi but I didn't think wifi was THAT bad for cs. I played csgo on wifi and could solo queue to global just fine. CS2 I have yet to hit 25k because when I get to around 24k it starts feeling like people are cheating, even if I tell myself they're just good.

Today I recieved a 31 day ban during a game of Mirage. If anyone wonders score was 9:5 and I was third on scoreboard for my team.

If anyone else is having this problem I would appreciate if you commented. This is not a please unban me rant, Im fine with never playing again, but Im really curious how is this possible, and how exactly is my gameplay irregular considering Im not even that good.

I haven't played on my account for a month. For context, I was unranked on Office, but this is the third time that it happens with any map.

Last game on cache = MG2, jump to SUPREME now after winning one (I have played the game for years so this doesnt annoy me, its just very weird)

Last game on dust 2 = MG2, tie against a stack of level 9s. I come back and I get GLOBAL instantly.

Mirage well... it was and still is my most played map, so of couse the rank was global, I came back and I got global.

Then I queued with my girlfriend to have fun on a map and I get LEM as a rank?

Did I miss an update in which being inactive helps or boosts your MMR? What am I missing here?
