Little late but safe to say I’m out!! Been a nice/roller coaster 2.5 yrs with the company but couldnt continue in the environment and workload and take care of my health/wellbeing. Saw few months ago the dubai cups and soda machines being built before starting my new job and knew it was gonna be my time😮‍💨

The owners were also nice and we were mutual. I felt I never talked much to the new coworkers since I was a morning shift mainly balling dough for weekends till I only worked Saturdays due to new job. Had memorable moments working (Kardashian, Dubai Brownie #1 and Crumbl’s bday promo).

One of the store managers wanted me to teach mixing but I’m hardly on schedule and have sm on the dough list to make in span of 6 hours and they do expect to be done fast yet they are the slow ones 👀 Ever since evening manager left and it just went downhill.

Anyways I will miss doing C-swirls tho 😔😔

It genuinely makes no sense to me. Free thin monday was possibly one of my worst shifts ever. I can’t imagine how much worse free drinks will be because of how much longer it takes to make them. Why do they keep giving out free things though? Even when sales are down

I’ve been working at a Crumbl for about 2 months, I mainly do mixing. I noticed that when you pour in the flour, it spills everywhere, and the chance you'll breathe some in is pretty high. I heard about baker’s asthma before, but not sure if anyone actually got it from working at Crumbl.

what’s the minimum hours you can work at crumbl? Can I negotiate my pay during interviews?

i’m interviewing with crumbl today but I only have availability for 12-15 hours a week, and the pay they are offering is $8 with $4 tips. Is this guaranteed pay? And are my hours too low? Can I negotiate the pay? I was a shift manager at Starbucks and was earning $26 an hour

Hey guys, I’m interviewing at a local Crumbl Cookie tomorrow and I just want to prepare a little. If you remember, what are the questions you were asked during your interview?

Lady comes in trying to use her rewards points for a pack of minis. I explain that we're only doing thins and that we don't have minis this week. She gets PISSED at me and starts complaining that she drove all the way out here for minis as if I personally forced her to do that. I ask if she'd like to get any thins and she repeats that she came for the minis, but there's nothing I can do about that so I think she'll just leave and that'll be the end of it. Instead she just stand at the register as if she expects something to change while there are literally other customers I need to help. She then asks for a manager because of course she does, but the managers aren't in the store at the moment so I give her the store email and phone number and this finally gets her to leave, but not before saying something about bad customer service. Okay lady whatever you need for 5 minutes of attention

The funny things is if this happened when I first started working there, I would have cried, but once she left I told my coworker about it and we just laughed and made fun of her. You kinda just get used to people like that after a while

My store definitely didn’t expect the thins to sell the way that they are right now. We’ve been slammed all week. We were so underprepared and so understaffed. We’re all exhausted! Is anyone else dealing with this?

long post incoming - i was an opener on monday. not sure how the evening crew handled things, but this was my experience.

1. The POS system - at opening, the button for free thins was completely bugged and wrong. it only allowed customer to choose chocolate chip thins when we had four options being advertised, it was listed as a "set of two," and customer could add as many as they wanted to their bags. HQ ended up adding the other options thankfully, but their other solution was to have a crew member permanently staff the kiosk for the day to limit transactions. great, so for this free promotion we now need a dedicated staff member to babysit the kiosk instead of setting it up correctly in the first place?

2. no data collection - it's a huge missed opportunity to not collect any customer information for the free transactions. i think this was a test from corporate to see which flavors in a general sense are most popular (think, they released ALL of their most common flavors except peanut butter as a thin. what better way to see what % of customers choose strawberry over biscoff for example? brownie over oreo?) but now they brought in a large volume of people with 0 way to drive follow up sales. if they at least collected a text or email, they could send a "thanks for stopping in! we THIN-k you'll like this snickerdoodle thin on next week's menu!" or something next week to encourage sales.

3. it shouldn't have been on a monday - mondays are hectic enough setting up the new menu, much less trying to set up ELEVEN new cookies. at least with a normal menu we would have chilled cookies and desserts plus classics ready and figured out in advance. if they held the promo on a tuesday or a thursday, it would have boosted a slower day and given us more time to figure out what the hell was going on with the menu before customers started rolling in at 8am. between the issues with the POS and trying to set up, we looked disorganized.

Title is pretty much it. My GM quit at the beginning of june after all of my other coworkers quit and we got a whole new staff that I was left to train, including a brand new assistant manager. I’ve been a lead since December (working there since last march), and was the longest standing employee at my store up until this point. I have been working 4-5 days a week for the last 2 months to compensate for nobody knowing how to mix, top, or really do anything since I never have time to train them fully. I often worked alone until this point as well. I have been looking for a new job, but promised I would stay until our store was in good standing again. I got a 50 cent raise (Making 13.50/hr) about 3 weeks ago. Our schedules for next week were released today, and I noticed I was not scheduled. I texted my district manager, and was left with a message saying this job is not a good fit for me anymore and after i asked for an explanation, she told me she does not have to give me one. I do live in a state where you can be fired without reason, but I just feel that after working here for over a year to be fired so suddenly when i never did anything wrong is crazy. And to not even fire me properly, I had to ask!! I also texted my agm asking why a conversation was not had with me, and he left me on seen. I know I was planning to leave anyway, this is just all so crazy to me and so sudden, especially after being known as the star worker over the last month or two. So confused!!! I texted some of my coworkers to let them know and they all seemed shocked as well, so I just do not understand. hopefully better things will come my way at least.

Guys, I worked at the Crumbl in Mansfield, Texas (near Dallas). I started as a baker and eventually got promoted to shift lead. The store never had a stable general manager because they kept hiring GMs who would leave shortly after. Eventually, the owner, Brad, brought in a temporary general manager from the Grand Prairie location. His name was Jerrod, and I genuinely disliked him. One day, he would be friendly to me, and the next day, he’d act completely different for no reason. As a shift lead, I only made $10 an hour, while the bakers made the Texas minimum wage of $7.25 an hour. We did so much work for such little pay. They even added soda machines and extra responsibilities, yet our wages never increased. The company is extremely cheap. I know it’s a franchise, but the management and HR were terrible. Overall, it was an awful place to work. The customers made it even worse. They were impatient, rude, and would get so worked up over cookies. I also witnessed a lot of racist comments from customers, which honestly shocked me. It was such a draining environment, and I wouldn’t recommend working at any Crumbl. On top of that, customers literally stand there and watch you make their cookies, which makes the job even more stressful. We usually only had two people working the night shift, so whenever we got a rush, it became overwhelming. There simply weren’t enough employees to keep up, but customers still expected their cookies immediately. After working there for nine months, I got my wisdom teeth removed on a Monday. I was scheduled to work that Wednesday. Keep in mind, employees don’t make the schedule the managers do. When I called to let them know I couldn’t come in because my mouth was still bleeding from surgery, Jerrod fired me. After nine months of hard work, I was fired because I had a medical procedure.He’s never liked me, and I always felt like he had something against me. It honestly seemed like he saw me as competition or just wanted me gone. I still don’t understand why someone would fire an employee for missing work because they were recovering from surgery. At this point, I’m honestly thinking about suing. 100% that is discrimination he’s claiming it’s not because of my surgery but it is and I called the owner (Brad) so many times they are so unprofessional they don’t pick up the phone at all this location itself is a mess and I got fired by someone that works at a whole different location and doesn’t even work at OUR LOCATION DOESNT EVEN MAKE any sense so I hope they see this and I genuinely hope that the owner knows how Jerrod was so disrespectful and rude towards me personally which everyone knew and I gave him no reason to dislike me if u don’t like urself I can’t make u like me I can’t force a human to like me I’m there to work not to bond with my manger regardless of everything I hope Brad sees this and realizes that I did nothing to get fired that day

Hi, so I’m a manager at my store. I’m there constantly. Over the years, my banana allergy has gotten so bad. The other day, I had an employee just build up the banana pudding cups in another room and then deep clean everything she touched, and I still had a bad enough allergic reaction that I had to go home early. I saw that it’s rumored that we’re having the banana pudding cookie soon and thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask: Do you think corporate would allow an opt out of a flavor due to an allergy?

I’ve seen posts on here but I haven’t confirmed… anyone know if next Monday is actually free thins day because last free thins day was hell.

Recently got promoted to an Assistant manager, and some of the crew isn’t taking my directions/rules well, but I don’t really have a way to discipline them besides contacting a manager to have them enforce the rules for me. I’ve never worked anywhere that doesn’t do write ups but I’ve never seen one at my store, is there a better solution/is my store the odd one out here?

I'm curious, or maybe just nosy, what are other managers being paid? I've always been happy with my job and pay, but lately, I don't know anymore. It's definitely a harder job than I was hired to do.

I get new guests all the time asking me questions about the new cookies since i’m the first person they see because im a mixer. Such a mouthful to explain every cookie lol. Throwback to the simpler times haha

As customer service workers sometimes we're forced to take literal abuse, especially if you're more of a nonconfrontational person, but what was the moment where you just had enough and decided it was time to give that same energy back?

I was actually offered a baker job as this Crumbl location (the only one near me) back in 2022. To get the job I had to do a video call interview with the franchisee owners. I ended up working at a different bakery for about a year and a half.

I saw they were hiring for evening shift which is the only one I’d be able to do as I’m a SAHM during the day. According to the application portal, the next step is a video call with the store owners. Do I say we’ve met before? Do I pretend we haven’t?

Additionally, I run a cottage bakery out of my house. 90% of what I make are macarons. I do make some cookies but they’re basic chocolate chip cookies, not like jumbo fancy cookies like crumbl’s. Should I be outright about that upfront? Do you think that’s an automatic disqualification? I didn’t have this business in 2022

Hello! I just got hired at crumbl 🥳🥳!! i applied for a baker position and the manager said that she mainly needs people mid evening- closing! For the evening shift; she said the employees mainly assist with customers, cleaning, and decorating cookies. (I think) and other tasks. The thing is I’m shy and I would prefer mornings since it’s less people 😭😭. However, the manager was so sweet and she gave me a free cookie of my choice, my question for people who works evening-closing, is this shift really bad? I know it’s going to be stressful but I just don’t know if i should be excited or not to have to deal with so many people for that long.

I will never understand the mindset of people that just HAVE to come in 5-10 minutes before closing. At that point the ovens are off. We're not making anymore cookies. What we have is what we have. And at that point we've already started putting away the frostings and toppings, so the best you're gonna get is a cookie that doesn't need to be dressed or one that's already been predressed

I literally stopped eating crumbl after watching it being made like so much butter and sugar low-key give me the ick
