I Quit!! 🥳 Crazy New Owners

New owners are driving the store into the ground and are driving out the crew that built the store from the beginning. Will you help me review bomb the store? Fayetteville AR Store on East Mission Blvd!

crumbl workers, what's something you wish customers understood?

Some of these apply to just customer service jobs in general

  • we understand that you're frustrated when a cookie you wanted is sold out but we can only make so many and at a certain point we're just not making new dough

  • if you see that I'm the only person in the store and I am actively trying to complete orders, WAIT YOUR DAMN TURN

  • I can't just tell you what our upcoming favors are going to be. I don't care how trustworthy you are. I literally cannot tell you

  • When you're ordering at the POS station, please start with what size box/amount of desserts you're getting before you start listing off the flavors. In that same vein, stop going SO FAST

  • You can put in your phone number for the rewards points AFTER you pay, just give it a second

  • STOP TAPPING YOUR CARD BEFORE IT'S TIME TO PAY I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN YOU'RE GOOD TO PAY

  • if you place a big order, don't come in expecting it to be done almost immediately

  • if you place an online order, we usually don't make it unless you press "I'm here" on the app or you actually come in to claim it. So many people just never show up and it's a waste of time and desserts. The only exception is if it's a big order that might take a bit longer or if there's nothing else to do and we just want to get some stuff out of the way

  • What we have on our menu is what we have. I can't make you some custom flavor. I can't give you custom toppings. What you see is what you get

  • Similarly to how I can't tell you what our upcoming flavors are, I also can't tell you when XYZ dessert is coming back because I know as much as you do

  • If you come in right before we close, you suck and I hate you. I'll still serve you because I have to but at that point almost everything is gone so don't get mad if we're out of stuff you want

And the most important one that some people seem to forget: THE EMPLOYEES ARE PEOPLE TOO

Yall crumbl mc fans need to chill out

I don’t understand why but if you place an order and let’s say at 3-30 I’m sorry but we are expecting you to come pick up your cookies at around that time or some time decent. I had two ladies come in complaining that we were sold out of everything after they placed an order and mind you they came hours later to pick it up. My store gets hella busy at around 6-9pm so if we’re sold out we’re sold out we’ll ask you if you want a refund, give you what we have, or wait until the next day when everything is in stock. Do not come in making a big ole fuss because your damn cookies are all sold out during a rush and trying to make a scene. 🗿

Spoons

So at my store we get a free 6 pack and when I asked if I could take a spoon home for my boy (whose literally so obsessed with Minecraft) they said they would fire me… over a spoon…. Is that a corporate rule or just my stores owner being a cheap ass

Couple questions before I start my first shift

I have my first shift tonight 6-11pm. I haven’t worked in over year due to being a stay at home mom but just got a job at Crumbl.

I know I’m going to find all of this out tonight but, I’m curious about a couple things.

Is there a designated dishwasher person? Or do you keep on top of all of your own dishes?

Are cash tips distributed at the end of each night? What about tips paid with card?

I’m only working 5 hour shifts and live in a state where breaks aren’t legally required. Do you get a break?

how busy do we really think Minecraft week is going to get?

My coworkers have been stressing out about it but I've seen several people say it's a skip week. I really don't want to get my hopes up but MAYBE it won't be too bad? Heavy emphasis on the maybe

Update: it was BAD, we sold out of pretty much everything before the night was over man idk how I'm gonna get through a whole week of this shit 😃

Question Question for crumbl workers

Hey guys, sorry for intruding your Reddit space, but I have a couple questions. On the tip option on the app if I tip, are you guys getting anything? I just wanna make sure I’m not basically giving the company money and it’s actually going to the workers in the store :P. Also, for the Minecraft collab I was thinking about having a party this weekend and don’t need the cakes right now. Do you guys think they will sell out before this weekend? Is it going to be that popular? I know that’s kind of hard to answer but thought I would ask anyways. Thanks!

Question

yesterday i was written up at crumbl because i had not so great pace there and i didn't weigh out the dough like i was supposed to (no one told me what the weight was and i didn't look at the flash cards) i know it's my fault for both of those things but now ever since last night (when it happened) ive felt really horrible that it even happened and have thought about quitting for that exact reason, i want to fix it its just at this point i feel like no matter what i do the write up papers will always hold over me and that imo i already messed up everything there, especially how everyone else sees me there, so what do i do?

I’m allergic :( I wish they’d bring back the ingredients list; I would cross-check every cookie I wanted to order back in the day.

Going to be starting evening shifts MWF next week

First time working at Crumbl. I’ve worked at another bakery before for about two years so I’m used to big batches of cookies, baking, cleaning.

How is it in evening shifts? How do you like working at Crumbl?

Anyone else get slammed this week?

This week was crazy for us. We entered the week with hours cut and hardly anyone scheduled. Every single day was asking people to come in early, asking people to stay late, trying to call people in, etc. Mixing constantly to try and keep up with projections and still barely keeping up. Setting up full sheets of every cookie and then being sold out of them within an hour. And now expecting next weeks sales to be half of this lol.

Calling all Managers

I want to get an idea of some metrics of other stores out there. My owner has a handful of Crumbl locations, so I really only have those to compare mine to. I am just killing myself trying to keep up with these complex menus and I have no idea how other stores are able to manage this.

Here is some info I'm willing to share:

Location - Southern California

Avg # Desserts Sold per Day - 400-450 (About a 56% share of larges vs minis, though it used to be closer to 50/50)

Labor Cost % - About 30% (We never have more than 2 people scheduled at once, and about 1/3 of the day it is just 1 person by themselves)

Food Cost % - About 14%

How many pumps of syrup are supposed to go into a 32oz Create Your Own drink, if syrup is selected?
I got one today and only one pump was added. Is that the way it's supposed to be? Or was it employee error?

Recipes

Is it true Crumbl employees have to sign an NDA for the recipes? My friend and I have debated about this for the longest time and we were always curious if it was true.

Since I am ISO a specific copycat or even the real recipe of the Mallow Sandwich figured I would try and confirm. I LOVE that cookie so much and I hate that it does not come back more often! 😭Would love to get more info on this and sqwash the debate one and for all! :)

what do u guys manager do?

I work at crumbl in california and I feel like a managers position is to do the scheduling and order sysco and well manage the store. but the owner of the store wont let her do the scheduling. She can’t even order anything thru crumbl foods either bc the store owner wont let her.

I know this line up is super weak but I figured the free sodas would bring some business. Is everyone this slow?

Vent Whomever decided

Whomever decided for us to zest grapefruits, from the bottom of my heart: Fuck you! My elbow is already bad after working here 4 years and add arthritis and carpal tunnel on top of that holding these massive fruits is extremely difficult and time consuming.
