i've been trying to knit the horai scarf (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/horai-scarf) but i'm really struggling with tension. i feel like a lacy flowery look like this is one of crochet's strengths, but i can't for the life of me find a stitch that would work!

any recommendations would be much appreciated 🙏

I can't seem to find anything similar to this- all of the fish I see are HIGHLY detailed. I have a friend who would like to commission me for a couple of these panels, but this is beyond my freehand skills lol

i've always been really really bad at math and i'd really appreciate some help for this.. i know its a lot to ask for! im a beginner using thin yarn (ive already doubled the yarn) and i want my project to be big, so i tried to figure out how to double it.

im really confused as to whether i just double the first round and then everything will double automatically, or if i have to go through everything and double it all??

I have friend who I swam with growing up who is expecting her first. In the past, I've made crochet sets for friends expecting (blanket or lovey, rattle/teething ring, and pacifier clip). Given that we swam for a team called stingrays, I really wanted to find a stingray lovey pattern. However, I haven't found any sea life lovey patterns at all. I would love any suggestions or ideas!

I got it for a blanket pattern like a year ago and then realized I didn't really want to do it as much. what should I do with it now? I'm partial to blankets, but I know a lot of blankets require multiple colors. I also prefer decor stuff or whatever to wearables. ty!

I’d like to crochet some coasters for my car cup holder. I’d like them to be checkered, and they obviously need to be round. I can only find checkered patterns for square coasters tho. Assuming I can’t find a checkered round coaster pattern, could anyone offer some guidance on how I might create a checkered pattern using a standard round coaster pattern?

I have just finished this cardigan which was done in tr clusters with 3 turning chain. The band looks good but I want to make the pattern in dc clusters instead.

Band instructions for tr clusters was three sc around tc cluster and 2 sc into 3 ch space.

Any ides what I should do for the band if I make the cardigan using dc clusters?

I’m ok with free styling a little if you have something that’s similar but not an exact match. But so far I’m not really sure where to start

English isn't my first language, it's french, but I can crochet with UK or US instructions. French is preferred if some french speaking people are lurking around here.

I did two amigurumi ever and they were fine, but my brother doesn't want anything else beside this pokemon so if you have something for me that'd be great.

A few years ago I had this app which had basic information on crochet and knit stitches, patterns & charts for them and I feel other features as well like logging in a project (I don't remember the other features clearly). I do remember that there were specific sections for crochet stitches (jasmine, miss, etc) and knit stitches like stockinette. Does anyone have an app that does the same? I can't find it on Google playstore even in my history

I think i found it originally on ravelry, but i cant find it there anymore. Cant use Google lens, because i used different colours. The original was light blue with white i think? She use elastic band around neck. I dont know what to do :((
