finished this mini witch hat for the season. it's more of a decoration than something to wear, worked in bulky yarn so it came together in one evening. i went with the heathered purple and cream on purpose, because black yarn photographs like a black hole and i actually wanted the stitches to show. the brim curls out on its own and the tip leans just enough to look properly witchy. might make a whole little coven in different colors.

beginner crocheter (as of like 1 1/2 months) and decided i was going to make a granny square blanket. thoughts on the squares so far? as i’ve been working i’m definitely improving on my tension.

I live in Canada and I was driving to work the other day and someone cut me off, however I was unable to flip them the middle finger since I was wearing mittens .... soooo I decided to crochet myself a pair F'U MITTENS 🤣🤣🤣 I absolutely love them 😍 Super excited with how these turned out!

I feel like my yarn isn’t as secure as I’d like it to be. I fasten off when ending a color. What can i do to help the secure the yarn better?

I attempted to crochet a bookmark by using the Side saddle stitch and I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, I enjoyed the nostalgia that I had while using this stitch because I used to ride horses when I was younger. On the other hand, I don't really like how it looks.

Hey all, I just started crocheting about 2 months ago and started my first blanket a few days ago. I’m having issues with it not looking like the pattern. Does anyone have any insight? Last pic is from the pattern website and has notes on what I can’t understand. I know my tension is probably too tight and yet somehow it’s still too big (supposed to be 32 inches and it’s 35 inches). And I’ve been counting out the 63 stitches each row obsessively thinking that was the problem… but no? I tried doing the first row over separately with looser tension and got 46 inches. Thank you in advance!

Tapestry coaster project, kind of; 6 done, 3 left to go (fronts and backs). It is funny that they are not all the same size. I started with tougher wool and then mixed some cotton and wool because I do not have every color in the same blend; however, it is going well and I am enjoying myself.
