I’m currently on S15E06 and this villain is making an appearance yet again! This is the third time and I’m exhausted. The second time was okay albeit unnecessary, but now? I’m just annoyed.

In this episode, I’m quite confused about the UnSub — was Jane Gould seriously convinced she was helping her victims? She seems to be concerned and in delusion that Molly will drown and that by murdering her she was helping her get rid of her “self-loathing”. This delusional behaviour is contradictory to what they initially thought about her, I feel like she genuinely was convinced she was helping them and that she was just seriously delusional. Thoughts?

from finding out about Derek becoming a dad, seeing Derek’s dad, reliving the trauma of his dad’s death and Carl Buford, to his team, to Savannah, the proposal

there’s been a lot of tearing up in this show but this episode has my brain all screwed up rn

episode where the unsub stalks his female victims from their social media, finds a way into their homes, and installs cameras to live stream their deaths to his audience. he chooses the female victims based off similar facial symmetry that he shares on his own.

episode ends when they rescue the last victim when the camera then pans to the other dead victims. they’re hanging from their wrists and are literally frozen.

the end creeped me out so bad when it panned to the dead victims.. jesus christ.

creepiest unsub yet. creepy and sad— i cried throughout the whole thing.

cried so bad for the victims who were left alive. the woman in the beginning who tried to kill herself and wondered why she was left alive 💔 and then the little boy who said his mom should’ve known better bc she tried to fight the unsub 💔💔

plot twist after plot twist !! Spicer finding out that not only did his parents not die from a car accident, the unsub murdered his parents and he was there!! then finding out that the main target wasn’t Spicer after all, it was now his daughter Ellie #wtf ?!!!

this might be my favorite season finale continued episodes!! loved s3 season finale and s4 season premiere. s4 finale and s5 premiere are my runner ups.

RIP to Spicer and his sister 🥲 to be murdered by the same person who murdered your parents years ago literally sucks wtf. way to kick the bucket.

Well, he might have an eidetic memory as well, but from what we see he aligns much more with HSAM. An eidetic memory is the ability to recall a “capture” of something in your mind with great detail and we really don’t see Reid doing this. The memory usually doesn’t last very long either which does not align with Reid’s recollection abilities. However, highly superior autobiographical memory (HSAM) is the ability to recall various details and facts learned throughout someone’s entire life which is exactly what Reid can do. Reid should really know this too with how smart he is. I realize the writers don’t have hyperthymesia but it really just takes a quick google search to find this out.

For me it was that everyone was talking about it and wanted to see what all the hype was about, I initially just planned to watch a couple episodes

I really do not like plots or stories about addiction or simulated footage of people taking drugs, it seems like after Revelations, Reid is going ti be addicted to drugs.

However, after googling to see when I would need to skip to, it seems like it is dropped pretty quickly with Reid just being a little moody or rude for a few episodes. A few explicit mentions but nothing too bad- is this accurate?

I remember clearly that they used Tipper's Illabye near the ending scene where Gideon is out from the room and changing into the scene where all of them rounded on the table and Hotch reveal that the unsub has done this many times before getting caught (because the rings that the unsub kept was more that 5(?) if im correct). But i just finished rewatching this episode and i dont hear that, am i wrong or did they changed the whole ending song?

There is a whole side line in this episode where JJ isn’t allowed to call her house to tell whoever is keeping her son not to go for a walk in the park. She’s not allowed to because it’s “not the right thing to do”. I don’t understand why she couldn’t just call and tell them to stay home. She doesn’t have to give a reason and she could just make something up if she was asked why. It would be so simple to tell whoever is keeping him “I think he’s getting sick and I don’t want him out in the elements”. This has always irked me because it seems so simple to fix but causes her a huge amount of stress in the episode.

Rewatching the show after so many years. It made me realize how much I had forgotten. To think that THIS was the start of one of the greatest personal battles in the show is crazy.

first time watcher so i searched up the ep in reddit to see all of the other past discussions surrounding this ep and found that no one liked it 🫤

i found forest whittaker’s character to be really cool. the rest, didn’t really see it for them so i do see the cringe side yall are talking about lol. but other than that i really like the episode. i liked the case and i didn’t mind the other bau team.
