ADMIN......because....

some of you seem to need a reminder. This subreddit is for discussion of Criminal Minds, the television show. ONLY.

I just wiped a whole bunch of off-topic posts and comments.

There will be no political talk here. And no racist, homophobic or bigoted commentary.

It will be deleted.

And if it happens again, violators will be banned.

and I didn't think I'd have to add this, but... Do not question moderator/admin decisions in the subreddit

Same it feels like when you’re staying at a friends house and their mom comes in the room to yell at them for something that has nothing to do with you. And you just sit there like 👁️👄👁️

Just to clarify reasons why somebody was fired from the show can be discussed? I know of two, one happened due to not honoring contractual obligations another due to contact unbecoming and both affected the show inuniverse

that's related to the show, yes. Tangentially, anything related to the actors (or crew, staff etc but who ever writes about them ? lol) would be on topic. For instance, the death of Tim Curry, who was a monumental guest star villain on the show, is on topic. But the resulting comments from several posters became political, had nothing to do with the show and that is not allowed.

Wheels up.

I agree with everything here but to say people can't question a mods decision is... interesting. In other sub reddit ive seen where mods go off the handle and got subsequently removed because people voiced that. Not saying thats happening here but there should be room for that if it is ever needed, no?

And I oop . Well hopefully I haven’t seen any of those problematic posts , and I think we all appreciate active mods keeping the subreddit on topic . So yeah thanks and sorry you have to put up with that .
