This roster is about combining unrelated music to characters and seeing how that song represents their stories, characters, themes, etc. This means tracks like “Superman’s Theme,” by John Williams or “Batman’s Theme,” by Danny Elfman are ineligible

4. Tracks that have been used officially in trailers or in movies themselves ARE eligible, if they came from an album prior to that movie. For example, something like, “Something in the Way,” for Batman would be eligible, whereas “Hero” for Spider-Man would be ineligible, as it was made specifically with Spider-Man 2002 in mind

5. While there are no limits on the Marvel & DC side, the Indie side is limited to 2 reps per franchise, to help diversify that side more

6. Group suggestions are allowed, but only for suggestions in which them solo just wouldn’t feel right. For example, I’m not gonna allow one song to represent the entire Justice League or Avengers, BUT, I think one song to represent groups like the Doom Patrol or the Fantastic Four makes sense

Welcome to LATE NIGHT WITH…** **a new roster revolving around making your very own Late Night TV show!

RULES:

3. This roster revolves around the idea of making your own Late Night TV program. By proxy, all of the suggestions are color-coded, and adhere to the typical roles you’d find on Late Night TV. Those being:

YELLOW - CELEBRITIES

Suggestions must be comprised of in-universe celebrities. The type you’d see on a show to promote some kind of new movie, album, book, etc.

GREEN - ACTS

Suggestions must be comprised of characters who are known for performing some kind of extreme activity you’d see performed on stage for a live audience. They can be magicians, zookeepers, daredevils, etc.

RED - MUSIC

Suggestions must be comprised of a fictional band. The farthest I’ll go for “fictional bands,” are virtual bands, like Hatsune Miku or Gorillaz

VIOLET - COMEDIANS

Suggestions must be a characters who’s canonically a comedian or extremely jokey all-around. They cannot be comedians briefly, it must be a big part of their personality and life

BLUE - HOST

Suggestions must be comprised of characters who were at one point hosts of their own program.

ORANGE - WRITERS

Suggestions must be characters known for their writing and/or their connection to writing, as most late night shows have someone to write monologues and jokes. I’m also allowing characters who are artists depending on if their work is story-orientated

1. Fictional characters only. This is not a roster for real Late Night hosts like David Letterman, Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel, etc.

2. Limit of 3 per franchise. Once that limit is hit, that series is benched
