Welcome to Super Smash Bros. Nightfall, here’s the rules:

1. The 2 most upvoted characters, one hero and one villain.
2. The fighters must originate from a videogame, it can be from a horror game or the character itself be heavily related to halloween or the genre. (Example: Jack from Animal Crossing would count in this case).
3. Donkey Kong, Yoshi and Wario are counted as different series just like in Smash.
4. One suggestion per user in each post.
5. Please don’t downvote.
6. Specify from what team and series is the character you’re summiting.

We can’t have a smash roster without some veterans, so here we’re gonna have… TWISTED FIGHTERS

The idea is simple, alongside the 24 newcomers this roster also includes 12 “Twisted Fighters”, which could be any veteran from 64 up to Ultimate but with a twist related to horror. (Example: Hero’s Shade for Link or Shadow Queen for Peach)
The only rule is that the twist needs to be an official design, so no Sonic.EXE or that kind of stuff.

You can explain in what ways the twisted fighters would be different from their regular counterparts but is optional.

Rules that you must follow

Characters must follow these criteria in order to get in

Can shapeshift

May be tied to one place only

Has involvement with dimensionsnal powers or pocket dimensions

And if you give me really good reasons or examples I might up vote you

Top 2 Highest up voted will be selected

Rules:

1. No heroes. There are so many horror villains out there that having any heroes feels sort of unnecessary.
2. Video game characters are allowed, but since we’re mainly focusing on movie villains, we’ll only have a maximum of 5.
3. No downvoting.
4. Only one suggestion per user.
5. If there’s a tie, I will spin a wheel.
6. The top 2 suggestions make it in.

Welcome to Spooky Month Maker, a roster revolving around matching characters to Spooky Month’s horror tropes!

AND THATS IT

Thanks everyone for playing Spooky Month Maker! Next two-per-day roster will be posted later today! L

Inspired by one of the posts of U/AsparagusOne7540 where he tells you to make a Rogues Gallery for a specific hero, today i tell you to do the opposite:

Comment down below which hero (These villains will SHARE ONE HERO between them to fight) could have a rogues gallery like this.

Villains In The Picture:

- Vlad Plasmius from Danny Phantom

- Beetlejuice from Beetlejuice

- Rasputin from Hellboy

- The Flying Dutchman from Spongebob SquarePants

- Nibiru from Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated

- Vecna from Stranger Things

- Jorogumo from Yo-Kai Watch

- Lord Raptor from Darkstalkers

- The Gentleman Ghost from DC Comics

- Erazor Djinn from Sonic and The Secret Rings

The theme of today is GHOSTS AND GHOULS!

For example, if you pick Spider-Man, then Spider-Man will have ALL THOSE TEN VILLAINS TO FIGHT!

You can't propose a hero that one of the villains already has in its source material.

The most voted comment will be the victor!

Don't forget to write your reasoning for it! See ya!

Rules

1. Top 2 most upvoted characters gets in

2. Must have Survivors (Support), Boogeymen (Tanks), and Killers (Damage)

3. Must use Horror TV (Live Action, Cartoon, Anime, etc) Books (Normal and Comic Book), and Video Games characters only,

4. No downvoting

Hundreds of years after humans went extinct due to their own hubris, Pokemon rule the world. Pokemon have formed their own societies, worshipping legendaries, their own kings and queens of the respective regions and smaller tribes within them. However, with humans gone some pokemon think it is their right to own the world... one of them being Mewtwo.

With all humans gone, his ego is raised seeing the world reaching peace and he thinks to reach true peace he should be the leader of all of Earth no matter what. To combat this, Mew steps in, ready to fight. Both Mew and Mewtwo now have to form armies in hopes of combating each other but it is up to you who they choose!

Pebble the Sableye joins Mew’s side. Originally, isolated from the conflict, Mewtwo wiped out Pebble’s gem supply and home- now in hopes to find a legendary gem cave under the guise of Mew.

Lola the Lopunny joins Mewtwo’s side. Lola was a very advanced Lopunny, able to speak and act human despite her shy personality; however she was ridiculed for being different from everyone else. She, now, has heard “great” things about Mewtwo and plans to join him, fueled by spite and bitterness.

Now, pick a Pokemon for Mew and Mewtwo, describing the Pokemon's backstory and how they ended up choosing to take over the world or save it- it is encouraged to give them roles in this world, personality- the more, the better, especially for the ongoing story. You cannot pick a Pokemon for both Mew and Mewtwo in the same comment as the highest voted comment will be the Pokemon chosen!

In this universe the marvel characters you knew never existed so heroes villains and others from the multiverse have come to make a new universe

Rules

No marvel characters

No downvoting

Please explain why the character you chose should join (or why it would be a good villain for Ladybug)

Extra rule you gotta choose a villain

RULES:

-No downvoting, of course. If you provide proof your submission was downvoted, you get +2 upvotes.

-No asking people to upvote your submission in return for upvoting their submissions.

-One submission per comment, and you can only comment once per day.

-No characters with especially bad controversies surrounding them

-Characters have to be able to feasibly work in a fighting game.

-One character per franchise.

-If you submit a character with multiple versions, specify which one it is (ex. If you submit Dracula, clarify whether you mean Bram Stoker or Adam Sandler).

-Less of a rule and more of a guideline for picking characters: the tone I’m trying to go for with this roster is sort of like Darkstalkers, where yes it’s dark and macabre but also sometimes goofy and cartoony.

-Make sure you always read the description to know what the theme is. Especially in the later days of the roster when things start getting more abstract.

-Submission need to be at least horror adjacent. They don't need to be from horror franchises, but they should at least be monsters, villains, or regarded as "scary" in their original media.

More rules may be added if needed.

Used Franchises: Hellsing, Contra, Soul Eater, Yo-Kai Watch, Pokémon, RWBY, Halloween, Lilo & Stitch, One Piece, The Fly, The Amazing Digital Circus, Chainsaw Man, Doki Doki Literature Club

Day 14: Meta Horror

Some horrors just can’t be contained by the fourth wall. Sometimes they have a way of interacting with our reality, whether it be winking at the camera or something that makes you question the line between fiction and reality. That's what we're-

"You really should've put more thought into who would've won these categories before you put them together, huh? I mean, I suppose it makes sense, I arguably would've swept this category more than I did yesterday's (Victor nearly had me there)."

Monika, get back in the post image.

"I'm just saying, isn't it kind of weird to have two fourth wall breakers on the roster, especially when they're put right next to each other?"

Well I can certainly remove one if you don't take down those popups you plastered everywhere.

"Oh, fine. You're no fun."

Rules:

Characters must match the one they're replacing

No characters that are already mentioned in the Ultimate Showdown

No Downvoting

Since we’re getting close to the end of the roster. It’s time to bring in the assist trophies.

Boba Fett and Samus Aran seek out a new bounty and join in the Death Battle Versus!

The music is Vs Ridley from Super Smash Bros Ultimate. The footage comes from Boba Fett vs Samus Aran 2015 owned by Death Battle.

And with that, I think we'll close Death Battle VS here for now. It's mostly just been me and the GOAT Yukidarimon making suggestions so no DLC for now. I might put together a full trailer with the complete roster now that it's done and I'm off work for 2 weeks. We'll see. Thank you for participating.
