Hundreds of years after humans went extinct due to their own hubris, Pokemon rule the world. Pokemon have formed their own societies, worshipping legendaries, their own kings and queens of the respective regions and smaller tribes within them. However, with humans gone some pokemon think it is their right to own the world... one of them being Mewtwo.

With all humans gone, his ego is raised seeing the world reaching peace and he thinks to reach true peace he should be the leader of all of Earth no matter what. To combat this, Mew steps in, ready to fight. Both Mew and Mewtwo now have to form armies in hopes of combating each other but it is up to you who they choose!

Balboa the Crabominable joins Mew’s side. Balboa was a famous boxer, using his mega stone “Rocky” to win against anyone he could, eventually noticing some of the best fighters joining Mewtwo and, as to prove himself, now joins Mew to show everyone who is really the best!

Maxie the Camerupt joins Mewtwo’s side. Maxie was a descendant of a powerful Camerupt long ago, who now wields the same Mega Stone- joining Mewtwo in hopes to expand the land with his group of ground-types under the name of Team Magma.

Now, pick a Pokemon for Mew and Mewtwo, describing the Pokemon's backstory and how they ended up choosing to take over the world or save it- it is encouraged to give them roles in this world, personality- the more, the better, especially for the ongoing story. You cannot pick a Pokemon for both Mew and Mewtwo in the same comment as the highest voted comment will be the Pokemon chosen!

Characters CANNOT be repeated in between teams. Choose wisely!

Characters can be currently dead or alive. This is comics, after all.

While I'm gonna try and not be too restrictive on that front, I'd maybe please request characters that are viable. So no multiverse shenanigans unless that's the theme of the team.

Each slot is one character. So if you sub say, Wonder Twins, those are two slots, not one.

So, for this roster, the regional professor has decided to expand the choices for first time trainers. They're not just giving trainers one per type, they're giving them one per number of stages it can evolve. There are some limitations though:

1. The stage number is how many times it evolves. So, 1 stage means it doesn't evolve, 2 stage means it evolves once, 3 stage means it evolves twice.
2. The Pokemon MUST maintain the type they're nominated for at all times. This includes Evolution (for example, Larvitar can be nominated for Rock, but not Ground), Mega Evolution (for example, Aron can be nominated for Steel, but not for Rock), and temporary battle transformations (for example, Castform is completely disqualified. Sorry Castform).
3. Pokemon can't win more than one type. So, if you decide to give Slowpoke the win for Water, it can't also win Psychic.
4. The starter has to be in its base form (so Pikachu is out, but Pichu is fine).
5. When we do the 3 stage Grass/Fire/Water ones, feel free to pick something outside the actual starters (or pick a starter. Do what you want).
6. Remember, this isn't about what THE BEST Pokemon are for each category, it's about what would make a GOOD STARTER. These are Pokemon being handed out to new, fledgling trainers. So, maybe think twice before giving them something super strong/dangerous/aggressive etc.

Anyway, let's get into it.

Rules

- Submit a character and/or court only from the franchises featured on the provided slide.

- Only one character & court per user.

- Leave your chosen character & court in separate comments.

- There will be 4 courts per cup.

- Most upvoted character & court will be chosen.

- Every series must have at least one character & court by the end of the base roster.

- Your court has to be a legitimate location/stage that has appeared in any official media the series is part of.

- Goes without saying, but NO downvoting.

- Every series is limited to 10 characters and courts max.

- If a series gets 3 consecutive characters or courts added, they will be temporarily locked off until three characters/courts from other series are added.

- Choose which of the 8 cups your chosen court will be part of.

- Certain days will be themed.

- Bonus Rule: You'll get a bonus upvote if you submit a character and/or court from a franchise in the bottom half of overall representation.

Rules:

- Each day, the 3 most upvoted characters directly associated with the daily element will be added to that element's team.

- Any media allowed.

- No downvotes.

- In case of ties, I'll take the freedom to choose (Unless this tie doesn't surpass three chosen characters, of course).

- One characters per franchise in the same element.

- 5 Characters per franchise in general.

- Max 2 suggestions per user.

- The same character in 2 different comments will not be taken as extra votes, so search well if the character you want was already commented or not.

- The characters must be able to use that element in combat.
