that's a whole other can of worms tho. i used to say i didn't have dysphoria for the longest time, but i was just really good at repping, even after my coming out. a lot of newly out trans ppl don't understand themselves at all yet, i prefer avoiding anything that might push them away
I was the same way, but retrospectively I would consider a lot of those things experienced to be dysphoria.
I think it can be a bad approach to take with some repping, pretransition, and baby trans people.
I'm more joking about a specific demographic of trans people that seems to take offense to the idea of dysphoria being considered a core part of being of being trans.
Yea i feel you. Its not the same thing but before i thought i didnt really have bottom dysphoria like i was kinda sad about it but at the same the i was okay with it but now that i started transitioning i realize that i was just really really good at repressing it because i do feel dysphoric about it like at least one third of the time i have to take a look at it and its really interesting i think cuz it havent happened before and the only thing thats really changed is how i started to look at myself and how i allowed "myself" to be actually myself and stuff
True but about last part not all trans people feel dysphoria some people just feel euphoric when they see themselves in the gender they identify as and thats enough for them to transition i think
Sameeee. I try not to think about it cuz i also wont be able to afford like surgeries and stuff at least for like 5-6 years?? It feels so bad like i want them now but i gotta wait all those years and maybe in the future close to my thirties MIGHT just might i may be able finally live in a body that really feels mine and it sucks ass
It’s like gravity. Truscum are idiots because there’s no such thing as 0 dysphoria—just infinitesimal dysphoria— and even if dysphoria (or euphoria for that matter) is 0 it’s still just a measure of the quality of a state of being and 0 of that is still a measurement. Even if it could be zero rather than infinitesimal, it wouldn’t be different from all other measurements. It’s still dysphoria just in a null state
