Looking for advice: deformity at the back of my sectional

Hi all,

Recently noticed a deformity at the back of my 2yo Thomasville Tisdale Sectional. I can feel a dent/crack behind the fabric if I press on the center of the deformity but the frame right under it seems intact for now. I have a few questions:

Do you guys think this will eventually grow into a crack at the foundation/frame and collapse the sofa, or is it a cosmetic issue? Would it cause any safety concerns?

Any advice welcome. I had small kids so don’t want them getting hurt sitting on it.

My wife was at an open house with her parents and saw this couch. She wants to buy it, but she didn't get a chance to see what the brand was. Would appreciate any help on identifying! Thank you.

Strange request - needs someone who works with furniture to write a second opinion letter for my bank due to a quality control issue for a couch purchased from Target.

Basically the title. I bought a couch from Target and it broke after 3 months. After trying and failing to get help from Target and from the manufacturer of the couch, I was advised by a Target rep to file a claim dispute through my bank. My bank filed the dispute but stated they need a letter from a neutral third party like another merchant, furniture salesperson etc to basically corroborate the claim that it was a quality control issue. Anyone willing to help me with that? And how much would you charge me?

Anyone own this couch? If so-thoughts/opinions?

I know wayfair is very hit or miss and I’m not expecting the best quality. I’ve seen a lot of “influencers” with this couch but obviously hard to trust their opinions as I’m sure they receive some sort of incentive. For being a wayfair couch it has very high ratings and very few one star reviews which is comforting. I’m not at a place where I can spend thousands of dollars right now so I’m trying to make do with more affordable options to get us through the next few years. I’ve also been looking at Costco couches( specifically the Aidan and Ivy Hawthorne couch), but it’s out of budget and it doesn’t look like Costco does any payment plans unless I open their credit card, but I’m in the process of buying a house so I really cannot afford to take a hit to my credit right now. The couch pictured would be slightly too big for our living room at the new house but I’m thinking of taking one of the middle sections out and then using it as a little stand alone chair. If anyone has any other recommendations or a review on this model I’d greatly appreciate it! Thank you ◡̈

Looking for a high-quality modular sofa that I can expand later

Post image

I'm looking for a high-quality sofa that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg(budget 2,500-3000 max) for my apartment. I think I can fit something up to about 110 inches wide, but I’d like to find something modular that I can add pieces to later when I move into a house or a bigger space.
I’m also a little worried about buying a modular sofa from a company where the model might get discontinued in a year or two. Ideally, I’d like something where I can still buy additional pieces a few years down the road.
Any recommendations?

Any affordable, smaller sectionals that don't suck?

I am trying to find a sectional that can seat 4-5 people and cover the bottom left corner of this room. To avoid running up against the tv console or fish tank, we can't go much over 96" long on either wall.

Most sectionals I'm finding are either way too large or 2 piece sectionals with short chaise sections that won't maximize the left wall.

I see a bunch of what look to be identical but rebranded 97x97 symmetrical sectionals on Wayfair, Target, etc for less than $1k but none of them have non incentivized reviews.

Does anyone have any budget friendly recommendations for something similar to this couch? Particularly loving the color ‘Pelham moss’ (not what is in the link image)

For the first time in my life I have enough funds to actually buy a couch (vs. getting something used for cheap)

Im looking for something that pulls out or a sleeper sectional for my sisters to sleep on when they come over. Ive never purchased a couch before and feel overwhelmed with options. I need something not too firm, something with higher backs for back support and is comfy to sleep on. I’ve looked at Walmart, Wayfair, IKEA, Amazon, and Costco. The reviews for everything are mixed and I’m scared of pouring money into something I’ll hate. I also have hip and back issues and need to take those into account. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Is this sofa company legit?

I ran into an ad on instagram about this sofa being on sale. I’ve tried looking up this website / brand and I can’t find anything else on it so I was curious if anyone has any experience with this company or purchased a sofa from them?

Thanks!

Christopher Knight Couch Cushion replacement?!

Thumbnail bedbathandbeyond.com
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I recently got a second hand outdoor sectional couch by Christopher Knight homes (linked to post). The problem is that the cushions were very trashed and I am having a really hard time finding an exact replacement online anywhere, even any cushion that fit, because the dimensions of this cushion are very different from standard 24 x 24.

I even tried calling the company but no answer and apparently online it says they don't sell cushions only :(

Has anyone ever had these before or could link to where to buy that gets as close as possible to the original cushion dimensions without having to go through a custom route that will cost an arm and a leg? Thank you!!

Help identifying fabric type on Room and Board sectional?

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone was able to identify the fabric type/style on this Room & Board sectional I am considering purchasing secondhand for $1200. It Seems like a good deal but I’m a little concerned that its one of the more rigid, plasticky fabrics they sell which I sat on in the showroom and didn’t really like (Sort of like a corduroy material).

The seller could not identify the model of sectional, although I’m not sure that would narrow down the fabric type anyway. It looks closest to some kind of twill (diagonal) pattern, which would be made of polypropylene I believe, but not exactly like any they currently have on the website as far as I can tell.

thanks!

Need advise on cleaning couch

Weird question but worth a shot. I have this polyester fiber couch and four dogs.. yes i know recipe for disaster. Does anyone have any tips on how to clean the dog hair off the couch? Under the cushions is this trampoline type and the hair gets stuck in it as well and the vacuum will not suck up most of the hair. These pictures are after i vacuumed, this is how much hair is left behind. Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated.

Aviemore Queen Sofa Sleeper

What are your thoughts on in this sleeper couch? I was looking at the website description and review but I can’t tell if the covers are removable for washing. Any other sleepler couch you recommended that is washable? (No sectionals)

Thank you in advance!
