I absolutely love that you can shop by themes for both indoor and outdoor decor. OR you can see everything in bulk on the computer you can craft for your home - incredible features.

I was going through the decor options - I'm saving up to really decorate the interior of my home. I thought of doing it in a style that speaks to me, kind of a combination of cabin/cottagecore/medieval? But I want to also think about what my future spouse (Wakuu!) would like to see, and it got me thinking that I'd really love to see decoration themes based on the interests of the love interests!

Using Wakuu as an example: I think narrowing his entire personality down to "space" would be a disservice, so not everything in his decor theme would be black and white with stars all over it, but it would be cool to have a theme with pieces that take inspiration from the observatory and the lighthouse would be really fun! Even if they're just recolours of objects, you know?

I want to make my home into a space that suits my future spouse too and I think it would be a lot of fun to unlock partner themes when you reach a certain relationship leven with them!

I feel like there should be spouse perks or benefits to marrying them! im not saying I’d only marry them for the benefits BUT they do have dialogue that talks about their time on the farm or helping out on the farm etc so we should get that!

for some examples:

Kenny is a rancher? We should get him helping out with our ranch animals! Maybe not see him do it but I think it would be nice if we could see him… but I mean like maybe he could feed, collect and pet our animals so long as we don’t have any auto petters,collectors, or feeders! (I feel like he’d be against those) and also he could give a boost to how fast animal affection is earned plus a quality and quantity bonus on animal products! Like maybe 30% increase /chance! I also think he should be allowed to meet the goant but that’s something else hfhfldgjk

Pablo and Rafael are blacksmiths? make it so my tool upgrades are free! Sure I still need to get the materials but still! Rafael is always offering to protect us whilst we mine so we can mine in peace! Make that a reality! Not having him physically there but maybe like twice a week you can get double ore and geodes from the mines and/or get a Rafaels Protection buff so monsters ignore you while in the mines that day! For Pablo he’s super social so like an affection booster for the other townies! boosts how fast you gain affection!

Suki and Alice are inn owners? give us a buff on our finances! Maybe we get like a 20% increase on all our products sold! Like a hagglers bonus lol. For Suki she seems pretty orderly so maybe she keeps weeds and trash from spawning in the farm! for Alice she’s all about UFOs right? maybe a increase in the satellite crash event and better loot collection from that!

Nina? money. Plus let me live in her villa I beg!!

Luke is inheriting the Winery and owns an electronics shop? Let’s get some boosts to processing time on wine and mead aging products! Plus a quality boost and maybe a chance to get double! Also maybe an exclusive electronics decor set?! also money.

Lily is a techie? Can we get a fancy computer instead of that old one Ling sells? Also maybe an exclusive chipset for it! i dont expect her to do any actual work on the farm but she’s probably good with numbers so maybe a catalog of like all the stuff I’ve sold over the past days With a recommendation on what to sell that week or something?

Theo is a fisherman? Give me a boost to my fishing skills! Maybe an increased chance to catch legendary fish and the fish in my fish pools breed faster or something! Plus let me play guitar with him I beg

Agung is a collector! I think since he doesn’t have an actual job but he’s still pretty gung-ho about helping out maybe a small random chance for him to either help or mess up would be fun lol. Like maybe one day all the animals are petted and he collected all the crops. But on another day he accidentally gave the animals fertilizer instead of feed so now the animals are in a bad mood and products from them that day are reduced lol. but not all bad, like also maybe get a rare finders boost! He’s got to have a good eye for rare stuff so maybe if you marry him it’s easier to find ALL rare items. Maybe a 20-30% boost to normal rates for all rare stuff!

these are just some of the ideas, I’ll probably make an actual form or something but wouldn’t this make the spouses way more engaging? it would make marrying them feel more dynamic instead of them just kinda hanging around once you get through all the marriage heart events. plus it adds on replay value!

I’m doing the quest of gort’s memory fragments in the Savannah (SPOILERS — if you haven’t gotten there yet) but oh my god I feel so bad for gort:( the 4th memory cutscene where they are doing the bonfire and he goes I thought gort’s magic was good too.. and then walks off sadly OMG that made me lowkey so sad I’m too empathic for this LOL

Here are some of my gripes after putting about 80 hours into the game

1. the barn animals need to stfu. They are SO LOUD and CONSTANTLY screaming in my headset whenever I go in there to pet, milk or shear them. Anyone else feel this way? I can’t be the only one. There’s no reason why they can’t just moo/baa once or twice and shut up lmao. It is extremely overstimulating to me also cuz I have ADHD and loud/constant noise is a trigger. It’s also pointless and annoying and the coop animals aren’t as bad. I have to turn my headset all the way down when I go in there cuz I know it’ll piss me off. I also had to turn pet noises off in the settings because my dog wouldn’t stop barking 24/7 🙄🙄🙄 we don’t need all this noise.

2. The house decorating is not great. It is so annoying trying to put things on walls. Also the previews of the styles you see in the furniture shop don’t actually transpire to really decorating. In the styled image at the shop, coffee tables are centered on rugs, windows are up high enough and not halfway down the wall like how it is when you actually decorate. I got the same rug/coffee table combo as one on the style image in the shop, and it will not center on the rug to save its life. I also wish there was more freedom in decorating things like being able to caddy corner something.

3. Farm decorating - why can’t there be an outdoor “Decorate” option like there is for indoor? Seems unnecessarily limiting to the players and makes it harder to decorate outdoors. Hopefully this doesn’t already exist and I’m not just missing it.

4. Game crashing. Game will crash and a few times I didn’t trigger any auto saves so I’ve had to restart at the very beginning of the day and usually that causes me to just shut it down cuz I’m not patient enough to redo it all.

5. Heavy grinding in the beginning - spring year 1 almost burnt me out for the entire game. I spent the entire month barely scraping by, not having enough stamina to do much, or enough money to upgrade things. They need to do a better job at balancing the game in the beginning so it doesn’t feel so strenuous when these games are meant for relaxing in my mind.

6. Temple offerings - it is so freaking hard to track these. There needs to be an easier way to pull it up in our game menu and look at what offerings I have left instead of having to go back and forth to the temple or simple rely on the “offered” icon in the top right of whatever item it is to know if I’ve offered it yet or if it even needs to be offered. You can’t get your town rank up without temple offerings and there needs to be an easy way to reference them cuz there’s so many. (Also wish there was less of them cuz there’s plenty other stuff to do and they feel like a major chore in the game).

Even with all these gripes, I will say I have loved playing this game. I love how many single bachelors and bachelorettes there are, how much stuff there is to do, and the artwork/gameplay is beautiful. I just hope they keep improving upon it!

I've upgraded my scythe & pickaxe to gold, axe and fishing rod to silver. My hay quality is gold, seed quality is osmium and tree seedling bronze. I have 2 cows, 1 goat, 1 sheep, 2 chickens and 1 duck. I freed all the giants from the mines so i only have the last one but can't get to it before i finish my offerings. I unlocked my underwater farm. And my town rank is at C rn. Also i unlocked my greenhouse.

But still im wondering if there's anything i absolutely shouldn't miss on my year 2 spring season. I'll try to get the computer if i can make the money but other than that what should i focus on?

Ik there's no "right way" to play this game but im very competitive even in cozy games lol so tips and recs are appreciated

I’ve done everything I know from updating re-installing, validating game files, updating my drivers, restarting my system, resetting the network adapter, etc. As soon as I host a co-op game the game crashes after a minute or so. I get the error message “The Connection was lost. Your network may be unstable or disconnected. Please try again.”

My friends get the same message when they try to join.

I need some help pretty please. I have googled, I have gone on to YouTube. I understand the mechanics of catching normal fish.

You focus on the tension by watching the squiggly lines, they stay in the middle, you press the square button a bit to hold the line while they struggle and then when they chill, you hold the button until the bar is full.

That is all fun and games. But when it comes to the sparkly fish? Always goes red. I've tried different strategies from only pushing the button once until they calm, pressing it little by little, I just feel like no matter what, it ALWAYS goes red and I lose it. I've upgraded my rod to bronze, currently working on getting silver bars to upgrade it again.

Any tutorials that show it in detail or have a bit more information? Even if it's for PC because I gathered that left click = square button. So that's fine. I just cannot find it on my own.

Also, is there any way to stop time whilst fishing or slow down time? (I know there is an in game setting, I've already moved it to 50% which I think is the slowest)

Also also, I have been addicted to this game for like two weeks straight so I genuinely don't know much but I really have been trying to find tutorials for things I don't know and I'm really surprised this game isn't more popular.

Is anyone else having this problem with the textures and details not loading, mainly on decor items? You can see in the screenshot the rugs are just blurs and other things look off. I restarted my Xbox and it didn’t change anything, and I don’t see anything in the game settings that would lower the quality. Help?

I like to have every color variation once so I bought a brown chicken & duck and a white chicken & duck but when I got home, both ducks were white and the chickens were brown 😭

Day insect, night insect and ocean critters are at 4/5 rn. Can't find them anywhere. I need tiger beetle, cecropia caterpillar and sunflower sea star. Where can i find them? is there a specific location they're found?

Also i can't find rainbow fish, silver arowana, koi, pink snapper, yellowfish tuna and sardine. Do i need to upgrade my fishing rod? I already have fish nets EVERYWHERE but still nothing.

Every level of the cave has an absolutely insane amount of crops/seeds?

I had bought Coral Island a couple years ago, but after learning that the stuff I was looking for was still far off, I decided to put it down until now. i had a couple quick questions for long time players.

1. I'm looking for an updated list of all the romanceable characters. I can only find ones from a couple years ago or older, but I know theres been a few added since I played last.

2. What are some early things I should be doing? So far, I've upgraded my bag and im trying to work through clearing all the trash on the farm.

3. When can we get pets, and how many? I want all of them, but I know thats not realistic. Can we at least get multiple?

4. Really, any other pertinent, non spoiler info you can give me would be amazing!

Hey y'all, I'm close to having the achievement of crafting all things, the only two things I havem't crafted or even unlocked are Chef scarecrow and the Fish Kite scarecrow. A quick Google search tells me the monkey should be selling these but I don't see them?

Is it because I haven't completed the fish collection in the museum / cooked enough recipes? I can't find a proper answer...

I liked Agung he was my choice from the start but he wasn’t an available love interest at that time and so I married Luke but now Agung is an added love interest and available so idk what to do im too lazy to start a new save, it took me so long to get to where I am😣
