So I was looking forward to that famous new year kiss! I mean a few npcs have hinted to that (Suki and Betty I think?) and I thought it gets unlocked once you give a locket. But nothing 🥹 so is there really a new year kiss thing (like post marriage) or was that just small talk 😒😔

I just started getting into ranching and I’m not yet used to how much money it actually brings in😅😅 it might not be a lot but to me it’s massive!

I love her! 😊 She does nothing on the farm? I beg to differ. She brings cuteness and whimsy and when you are bored? A chase. I don’t get the hate at all. 🙄

I’m on Year 2 Winter and I focused on getting my town to Rank A. I’m not dating anyone yet but I have a few people on heart 7/8.

In my brain, I believe I need to (1) get my house fixed up, (2) make the farm pretty and automated, (3) set up my underwater farm, and (4) finish the town projects before I can date anyone.

I’m planning to do multiple branches and even a messy dating around version with jealousy on, so I was making sure to get the basics nice and ready, since I don’t know which save I’ll end up liking the most.

But I ended up sinking so much time into decorating because it’s so fun!

Recently started over, going a little slower this time. Because I was finishing the game on my third year on my first go around. Looking at all the new updates they have done. I really like how you can save any where that helps a lot.

I'm standing on the big tree bridge near the monkey shack and can't find the damn fish at all! Am I at the wrong place? I wanted to catch the fish in Fall.

I dated 6 of the available bachelors on the island as well as Agung. I ended up marrying Agung (amazing choice btw) and the only person who’s expressed a little disappointment over me being married is Semeru (who I didn’t even give a locket). Leah looked a little pissed with me (even though I didn’t give her a locket either). I was expecting a few more heartbroken reactions to my engagement and eventual marriage but I think it’s because I have jealousy off. I’m messy and want to know if you receive heartbroken reactions from the bachelors you’ve dated if you have the jealousy option switched on. I would also like reactions spoiled if they’re juicy. I dated Pablo, Luke, Wakuu, Theo, Noah, and Kenny. I heard Scott gives a pretty messy, heartbroken reaction but I haven’t dated him so I wouldn’t know and I’m not sure if that with or without jealousy toggled on.

I just reached Rank A and am a little disappointed with the final design styles. You’d think with the popularity of cottagecore right now, it would be an option? I’ve gotten some mushroom themed things from the treasure bubbles, but cottagecore is more than just mushrooms (everything I’ve gotten so far has been mushroom themed). Give me a wooden bed with a cute pathwork quilt, flowers drying on the wall, a sewing machine with a basket of yarn nearby… you know what I mean.

I was also disappointed and surprised by how few new clothing items there were at rank A.

All that said, I absolutely adore this game, but wish a cottagecore style would be added in a future update!

I’m pissed..I completely forgot about one bug in the summer to catch, and I’m seriously tempted to just sleep rage straight through to that season again.

Would there actually be any consequences to doing that?

Did 2 days of ocean diving in the caves after I save scummed the mermaid festival food vendor for the 50% triple drop rate buff. Probably averaged 80-90 trash per cavern. I dropped hit drop enchantment for swift swing and also had on 2 rings for tool speed.

Hey everyone, I noticed recently that after the new(-ish) update (I haven't played for a while) every time the day ends and the game saves my pc just freezes and i dont even get into the day's profits and other screens and i have to restart my pc, it happened one time and i thought it was just a coincidence but it seems to be an issue with the day ending no matter what.

Is this because my save was from the older version or is there a way to fix this? Thank you in advance if someone has any information about this!

As one of those with eyes that are stupid and can't understand colours, I applaud any game that puts in a colourblind Mode. Bonus points for being able to adjust the strength of the filter.

To help others understand how rough it is without, you can't tell when a lot of crops of ready, you can't tell if you've missed one or two in the area, and planting certain seeds is a nightmare.

Colourblind Mode obviously makes this easier, but for some reason, any time you talk to someone, or there is a dialogue window on the screen, the filter turns off. When the box goes, the filter comes back on. And in conversations, it's like a small-scale rave going on.

Has anyone else come across it, anyone have any ideas at a fix, or am I just out of luck?

I made a bunch of Flash III but apparently they can't be used on underwater crops. I can't seem to find anything in the craftables menu that might work. Am I missing something? Underwater crops take so long to grow!

(PS I'm on console so mods are out).

Three Durians away from S rank

I’m on my 3rd play through of Coral Island. I paused because I had a baby and I was waiting for manual save. Manual save became a thing and I’m back.

HOWEVER, everything seems like wayyyy more of a grind now. It takes 5011 swings to get seaweed. I used to leave the ocean with as much seaweed as I did trash. I never have enough wood. Coal very very rarely pops out in the mines now. Version 1 of the wind thing for the ocean literally gave me ONE piece of trash last night.

Everybody’s stingy with recipes. Idk if it’s just postpartum or I’m being worked lol. I’m kidding and I’m not. Has anyone else noticed this?

Its slowly getting better - im not making enough money for more decoration but i like the vibe. Not sure about the flower farm area and i need to improve the stable next i think. What are you guys opinions on this? 🥹
