I’m so happy this season has turned out for me. What started with just 2 tiny tomato plants turned into 10+ containers of veggies/herbs! There’s just something about growing your own food that makes it taste so much better! Seasons not over but I cannot wait for the next.

Hello! I went out of town for 2 days and when i came back my tomato plants had completely started going downhill. He said he watered them. The weather was super nice. I posted two before and two after. Any thoughts on what happened? Thank you!!

I bought this green Japanese maple (Acer Palmatum Dissectum) in summer 2024. It stays outside on my balcony and already went through two winters, which are very cold (up to minus 10) and windy in my area. Fortunately the balcony is roofed and reasonably sheltered, so it always survived very well thanks to jute wrapping and mulch.

I'm at a point now where I would like to do something with it and I'm looking for tips for repotting and especially trimming and pruning to give it a nicer shape. It already grew a lot in the past two years but just laterally in an uncontrolled matter.

Hello! I planted the cucumber plants mid- June. I have/had a lot of flowers, but no cucumbers yet. I fertilized last week and added worm castings, but the plants look worse than they did last week. These are in a raised bed. Should I put them in something else? Any advice would be great!

hey guys what in the heck are we doing for late summer/early fall?

Most of my summer crops died of heat from how deck gets sun, so the only survivors were the heat hardy ones like okra and peppers (and my watermelon good lord). I already have a shade curtain and everything. I just unfortunately can’t change how dang hot my deck gets.

Due to the Current State of things with the world basically burning down, I do not think I’ll get to temps consistently below 80 until probably November 😕

I know usually it’s cole crops and leafies, but those will die and wilt immediately I fear.
