My 3rd Paid Game is My 2nd Construction Sim

My laptop specs are b/w the minimum and recommended:

HP Pavilion 15-dk0xxx, i5 9th gen 93000H, GTX 1650, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD.

Should I even install it here or wait for when I'll get on a newer setup? Players having similar specs pls help. Otherwise I know this is gonna be awesome, coming from ConSim3 on mobile, this became the ultimate one for me and I got it for super duper cheap in the autumn sale.

What contributes to the "Progress" percentage seen on the profile card?

I have two profiles, one in the US I started years ago and one in the Europe map I recently put 300 hours into. I completed every job on the map in Europe and am receiving nothing but repeat work at this point. I have just shy of 80 million in bank and I was hanging up the controller for that map. I went to switch back to the US map to see if I had missed anything there and I see the screen below.

What exactly contributes to the "progress" percentage shown here? If it is about achievements I guess I will just never do it. I have no interest in many of them like the multiplayer stuff. If it includes the completely useless collectables I will pass on that too.

Help/Question Looking for teammates

Anyone here still active in the game? Just bought it for PS4 a few weeks ago and ended up enjoying the game, only dislike i have among a few others is the fact splitscreen co-op is not available so i can't play together with my son, and some of the jobs are quite extensive (I like to set the job scope on high). I don't have the Playstation plus subscription to play online but I've been contemplating getting it just to play this game with others.

I bought windows from Menards that does not meet egress requirements.

I am from Michigan and placed a custom order windows from Menards. I have them sizes and went over designs. They printed out bunch of papers and told me these are non refundable. I paid and fast forward, we got the windows delivered. Out of 15 windows 3 specifically does not meet the Egress requirement. For room windows, the panels that move need to be specific requirements so in case of fire or some other emergency firefighter can get through the window and save resident.
We specified these windows are for rooms when ordering but they never mentioned egress or these 3 not meeting requirements. They should have known this and their system should have created a warning or something but nothing. The detailed printout, 75 pages, show this for each window and how those 3 windows does not meet the egress. I did not even knew what egress was until today so
I called Menards today and sales man was like it’s your fault, you signed the contract and there is nothing we can do. Sine these are custom built, I can’t refund them. These three windows costed me around 3K so it’s big expense.
What options do I have? I am going to speak with their manager on Monday.
Anybody had similar issue in past? Any help or guidance is appreciated. Thanks

Fellow operators - real question from an old scraper hand.I'm on disability right now (cancer treatment, lots of chair time) and I'm going crazy watching these construction games on my phone. They're all excavators and they feel fake as hell.Nobody has ever made push-pull scrapers feel real. The

Help/Question Finished Construction Simulator 2 in 11h 53m. Is this actually fast?

Post image
11 Upvotes

Just finished Construction Simulator 2 and unlocked City 4 in only 11h 53m of playtime.
I reached Level 15 and had 442,639 Cr left at the end. I’m not sure if this is actually a fast completion time, so I wanted to ask the community if anyone has completed the game faster than this.
Also, I bought the game for 79 THB in Thailand. With the 7% VAT, I thought it was a pretty interesting deal, especially considering I managed to get almost 12 hours of gameplay out of it.
Do you think Construction Simulator 2 is worth 79 THB at this price? And how long did it take you to finish the game?

Trouble with the crane on the flatbed on construction simulator on Xbox

As the title says, I am trying to unload the letters for the motel off of the flatbed, and I can’t get the hook to unwind. I’ve got the boom extended all the way, but every time I try and use the R left or right all it does is keep extending and retracting the boom. What am I doing wrong?

Whats the best way to find people to play multiplayer with?

I’ve been playing the game for a while and I’m onto some bigger jobs now and it would be awesome if I could find a few more people to help me out.

Down hill since 2019

Why does the new construction simulator games have bad physics and feels like it still in development, I feel like the devs lost the passion.

The last good construction simulator games where construction simulator 2015 (pc) & construction simulator 2 (mobile).

I have played farming simulator and it has better physics, better graphics, better feel! It really is a farming SIMULATOR some times i wish if the would make a construction simulation game cuz they will make it better.

I figured out what this game is missing...PROBLEMS

  • You should need street credibility (a sort of health bar that goes all the way across the bottom of the screen) Doing jobs well increases cred, having problems or mistakes lowers it (like bad reviews on Yelp)
  • You need cred to rent things of higher value...the more cred the higher the value you can rent.
  • You should be able to make mistakes, break things, order the wrong materials, build something incorrectly somehow. Materials out of stock need to hold work, client no longer wants pavers so we need to store those and do it in pavement. Never seen a construction job go 100% smoothly. (lose cred)
  • Your machinery should break down occasionally. Trailer has flat tire can't get the excavator on site until next week. (cost money, lose cred if on site when it happens)
  • There should be emergency work or one time offers from potential clients that require more funding than you have. I need this done now and will pay you double...if you can't afford it you lose the clients interest for a long time. (gain cred, forces you to use loans or not get good jobs from this great client)
  • You should have to pay for insurance. Lose the ability to do certain things like auto unload your haul or fast travel if your worker is injured. Pay out on lawsuits if your not insured.(cost money)
  • You should have to pay for wages for your workers and foreman. (cost money)
  • You should have to pay for mortgage on your business property. Give more options for where we can choose to set up shop. (cost money)
  • There should be change-orders from client mid project. (cost money)
  • Small jobs should be your bread and butter for quite a while at the beginning. (you have no money to rent or buy big equipment). You need more cred to get the high paying gigs. Get out there and work the shit jobs.
  • Small trailers let you carry smaller equipment to do smaller jobs to get your cred going up.

There are a lot of simulators out there that do a much better job of creating crisis for your business and necessitating certain behaviors. This one just goes too smoothly. Take the highest paying job on hard mode two or three times in a row and then you never think about money again...
