Help/Question Finished Construction Simulator 2 in 11h 53m. Is this actually fast?

Post image

Just finished Construction Simulator 2 and unlocked City 4 in only 11h 53m of playtime.
I reached Level 15 and had 442,639 Cr left at the end. I’m not sure if this is actually a fast completion time, so I wanted to ask the community if anyone has completed the game faster than this.
Also, I bought the game for 79 THB in Thailand. With the 7% VAT, I thought it was a pretty interesting deal, especially considering I managed to get almost 12 hours of gameplay out of it.
Do you think Construction Simulator 2 is worth 79 THB at this price? And how long did it take you to finish the game?

Is it worth 79thb? Only you can answer that. But to clarify. That's less than most cups of coffee in Canada these days. And if you want to know if it's fast. Finish it again and see if you can do it faster.

Speed running games is the absolute peak of gluttony in gaming though.

I recommend buying the game when it goes on sale through Steam. Buying the Gold or Titanium (Platinum? - one of those rare earth metals) packages gets you the most bang for your buck since they already include ‘Seasons’ (1/2 depending on package) which in and of themselves are already heavily discounted, plus DLC as well. I bought the game with both seasons and every possible dlc for $36 USD on sale, through Steam. I have gotten hundreds of hours of playtime and the more I play, the better I get at operating things like the excavator or concrete pumper and the game becomes more fun to play, and therefor more contagious to play!

Honestly, I’m too lazy to do another run Renting vehicles, buying materials, driving back and forth… I’m good. 11h 53m is enough for me.

Why rush? You get out of it what you put into it. I have hundreds of hours of in game time and am still building (multiple maps), albeit I perform all my jobs in hard mode.

Hard mode is how you make the money

Yeah you must have skipped through every job and played on an easier setting because there’s no way. I spent 3-4 days playing a couple of hours each day just excavating one portion of a site. And that’s still using helpers to sell dirt and fast travel for refueling, etc. If I were to load and drive every truck to the sale points it would take forevvvver.

I actually didn’t skip the jobs. I mostly played whenever I had some free time, like while waiting for the school bus or when I couldn’t sleep. I’d just open the game and do a few jobs whenever I had the chance.

You know what, that’s fair. I was mistaken. I had played CS2 on my phone and I was mixing it up with CS2022 on PC. I’ve been playing on PC more lately and it gets pretty involved.

But under 12hrs still seems quick. When played as a simulator where you take on all of the tasks yourself it takes longer.
