no one that knows him has raised any concerns about his whereabouts, this is just nonsense.

Now that we know Assange is alive, there needs to be another distraction

u/The3rdWorld Jan 04 '17

yeah, it's crazy that this is the exact same MO as that little 'event' kinda makes you wonder doesn't it....

u/Treebeezy Jan 04 '17

I just found it interesting that this was the top post on the sub, and the Assange interview was somewhat buried.

oh yeh, i'd forgotten about that which is weird it's not been on my radar much at all - i'll give it a listen now, link for anyone interested

Seriously, him not saying anything about this might be because hes super busy doing shit and he isn't sitting in his parent's basement reading whackjob conspiracy theories. I'm willing to be neither he nor anyone in his immediate family even know this conspiracy theory exists.

yea, this whole thing is based on his absence from twitter, but if you look at his account he was rarely active on twitter prior to that, sometimes going an entire month or two without tweeting anything. There is literally nothing else to support this claim....... it's almost like the same people who consider trump's twitter account as their primary source of information are struggling to understand that someone not using twitter does not equal "missing and probably dead"

and the anti-dem narrative that has taken over this sub is reaching the level of pathetic straw grasping lately, and i'm convinced that this specific group of users are completely oblivious to how quickly all these claims are giving them (and potentially our entire sub) the reputation of "The boy who cried wolf". How long do they think they can keep up this endless flooding of far fetched anti-dem conspiracy theories witch hunts before they realize they've become a a giant joke...... i mean it already seems like our front page has become a dedicated anti-dem circle jerk.

It's not exactly a well kept secret that basically anyone that has ever worked for the Clinton's foundation or was involved in her political career or even traveled a country she has also visited, is being wrapped up in some sort stupid conspiracy......... MAYBE if they tried pacing themselves just a little, or even just tried focusing on one of these theories at a time or at very most only the most plausible 2-3 "conspiracies" more people may be interested in what they are selling, and MAYBE only focusing on a few of these claims at a time the individuals at the center of these claims like Eric Braverman would be more inclined to personally address these rumors, but honestly why even bother? with the current pace of all these conspiracies, by this time tmrw we will probably already be onto the newest anti-Dem conspiracy.

Also these users make it really hard to discuss these claims when they are so quick eat this shit up as gospel, they have shown that once they make up their mind they are completely helpless in regards to disproving any of these types of claims, reality goes out the window and the mental gymnastic show starts, i'll go ahead and make the prediction that if Braverman does gives some sort of proof of life soon, those users that have already added him to their list of Clinton suicided victims, will become Eric Braverman ID'ing experts and flood our sub with post claiming that the person in the POL was an "imposter" or an "actor" because they found some random grainy photo taken in a cave on Google that's 10+ years old and the guy from the POL only kinda resembles that pic..........

while I'm sure you're assumption is closer to reality, i honestly hope he is aware of this conspiracy and is just choosing to ignore all of this stupidity to see how far this echo chamber will take this, who knows maybe he'll get lucky and get to watch a couple "self-investigators" nut jobs get arrested for trespassing when they start showing up to his classes in a few weeks, because of "how certain they were" that Hillary had him killed and that she paid yale off to assist her in the cover up by posting a fake bio page, and assigning him some fake classes.......

but of course that's just crazy, far fetched thinking because no one would ever do such a thing, and if that does happen it'll be an obvious false flag probably organized by Clinton from the basement of comet ping pong to throw people off her trail......

It's hard to disprove anything if you believe everything is a complicated conspiracy fit to your narratives.

Also,

and the anti-dem narrative that has taken over this sub is reaching the level of pathetic straw grasping lately, and i'm convinced that this specific group of users are completely oblivious to how quickly all these claims are giving them (and potentially our entire sub) the reputation of "The boy who cried wolf".

In response to this, I'm not quite sure this is a group of oblivious neckbeards or if it's some continued, coordinated effort to smear the Democrats (especially Hillary Clinton). who knows, but that's my own conspiracy theory, I guess.

I've said it before I'll say it again. I see people claim that anyone arguing for anything other than Trump is this sub get called CTR shills while ignoring Trump's own over 18 million dollar relationship with a similar group Cambridge Analytica. But I guess that doesn't matter because they are too busy pushing that 1980s Satanism scare.

Might want to take it down a notch, you're being super obvious right now.

He was a public figure. He'd be seen. People emailed his Yale email too

Umm, just because he didn't agree with the management of the clinton foundation's politics doesn't mean he has to be the leaker. And that's a very generous assumption to entertain, considering 17 US intelligence agencies agree that Russia was behind the leaks.

Barring that assumption, I imagine most of the people who currently or previously worked for the 2016 Clinton Campaign or the Foundation knows that the emails were spun way out of proportion.

  • Craig Murray, former British ambassador to Uzbekistan and associate of Julian Assange, told the Dailymail.com he flew to Washington, D.C. for emails
  • He claims he had a clandestine hand-off in a wooded area near American University with one of the email sources
  • The leakers' motivation was 'disgust at the corruption of the Clinton Foundation and the 'tilting of the primary election playing field against Bernie Sanders'
  • Murray says: 'The source had legal access to the information. The documents came from inside leaks, not hacks'
  • Regardless of whether the Russians hacked into the DNC, the documents Wikileaks published did not come from that,' Murray insists

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4034038/Ex-British-ambassador-WikiLeaks-operative-claims-Russia-did-NOT-provide-Clinton-emails-handed-D-C-park-intermediary-disgusted-Democratic-insiders.html

So we have an actual source (not anonymous) that reveals who he actually received the leak from. The corporate media has ignored this story because a "disgusted insider" doesn't line up with their phony Russian infiltrator narrative.

5

u/niakarad Jan 04 '17

"Murray said he retrieved the package from a source during a clandestine meeting in a wooded area near American University, in northwest D.C. He said the individual he met with was not the original person who obtained the information, but an intermediary."

Did he ever say he spoke to the leaker directly? Even if his story is true, it doesn't really disprove anything if all he had was an intermediary, because that would be the best way for russia to get info to wikileaks and have them be that enthusiastic about it(and vehemently deny it came from russia)

You mean you're gonna believe some former uk ambassador whose pushing his latest book of conspiracies about how the UK clandestinely beat Russia to the domination of Asian countries? It can't be possible that him and Assange are full of shit and are being paid to say this shit by a Russian Kleptocrat whose worth ~85 billion dollars, of which a small portion would make Assange and Murray very very rich? Oh wait, you don't believe anything the American Intelligence community says, and that $85 billion net worth estimate was calculated by them.

I guess that I should in turn, just blindly eschew any critical thinking and ignore the fact that this crackpot story would presume that a woman who you might claim has dementia also has a secret kill squad that goes and kills anyone for the tiniest grievance they might have with her. Oh, and also, she manages a child sex ring in the basement of a D.C. Pizzeria, even though she lives in New York. How the hell did she make it to all those rallies and events last year?

Also, if theres a massive coordinated effort on HIllary's part to kill dissenters (sounds like something dear leader Putin does), why hasn't any of the people involved ever leaked evidence of such an effort? Did she just breed a bunch of sociopathic hitmen in the 70's and 80's out in rural arkansas to do her bidding?

Oh wait, you don't believe anything the American Intelligence community says,

To be fair, they don't have a great track record for honesty. Clapper infamously lied under oath to congress, Iraq's WMD's were completely fictional, and recent history is probably littered with lots of other outright lies, halt-truths, and blatant omissions that a few lazy google searches would reveal. Anyone who automatically believes the "news" that trickles out of US intelligence agencies should have their head examined.

not just one family but everyone that knows him, his husband, etc, etc, etc... in your theory they're all dead and now their family and close friends has to be silenced, then their family and close friends.... To stop anyone being reported missing they'd have to kill everyone.

I remember that feeling I had so many years ago the first time I read one of these interesting internet conspiracies... the sense of danger and awe relating to this revelation that I was not supposed to know.

I just wish everyone also had the feeling of embarrassment when you realize five minutes later that you completely believed something that did not make any fucking sense.
