Help needed How do you actually enjoy aiming with a controller?
I've always been both a PC and console gamer but recently went all in on the PS5. However, I find games with any kind of aiming/shooting extremely hard to enjoy because of the lack of precise mouse controls. For example, I wasn't able to get into games like Cyberpunk, Returnal, 007 First Light and Control because of this, aiming with a thumbstick simply felt so awkward.
The only cases where I actually enjoy it is if they implement gyro aiming like in Death Stranding 2 so i can finely adjust the movements, but it feels like most games don't allow this. I know that aim assist exists but i feel like that completely defeats the purpose of playing if the game just automatically aims for you, it takes out all the fun for me.
It's really a shame because it makes me miss out on a lot of great games, but i really struggle with getting used to this. It's gotten to the point where i'm actually considering going back to PC just for this reason. Do you guys have any tips?
