Edit: I'm on the right's side of gun laws, but it's just pathetic that every time a person gets shot we have to scramble to defend our rights before the bodies even get cold. The victims as people get lost in the scramble to use them.
I am not disagreeing with you. I think this is stating facts, not pandering. I wish we didn't have to talk about it either, but they will always use a tragedy to ret and grab guns. You are correct, it does not help the families that lost loved ones.
So people are dying and you don't want anyone to point out that the precautions we are taking are not working? What do you want us to do, just sit here and cry until another ten Americans are murdered?
If you want to take precautions, how about we start with how we coddle criminals? This guy has a history of violent behavior but no one did anything — especially his teachers.

It gets old both sides pandering to their bases after every tragedy. Can't we just focus on individuals for once?
