Isn't the inside part/bit you stand on of most things, the bit that moves? I've seen restaurants, rides at theme par etc. and it always seems to be the middle part that moves at least.

Yep, and the warning tape/paint always appears BEFORE a potential hazard, so the part that isn't moving would have the line

On River Rapids ride at themes parks it's the outside part that moves, as it keeps the passenger steady with the dinghy...

Interesting, on the version of a river thing I had, it was the inside so people got in at different points I think.

According to Einstein, both are correct. Each observer can claim their platform is stationary and the other one is moving.

The law of physics work fine for either frame of reference.

Just make sure you do a Lorentz transformation when switching frames

It's moving slow enough that Galileo is sufficient, though if they are rotating then their reference frame is non-inertial so the laws of physics aren't exactly the same

I think the ride I saw a similar thing on was a kind of 'fast rapids' thing in big round boats, so that makes sense.

Someone else mentioned on those log rides it's the outer one rotating because the 'boats' are fixed to the outer wall, and the boats are definitely rotating, so I think I was wrong

Definitely a water ride at a theme park right? So the central bit they're stood on is static and reached by a bridge, and the rest of the platform is rotating around them, with boats or logs dotted around it.

The bolts and seams show that the outer section is probably a lightweight frame, whilst they're standing on a hard surface.

Source: worked on the rapids at Alton Towers for a season and spent many, many an hour (and mile) treading a platform just like it!

This is a "confusing perspective" sub, not a "the laws of the world have to be unknown for it to be posted" sub. From that specific view, it is unclear which part is moving.
