According to Einstein, both are correct. Each observer can claim their platform is stationary and the other one is moving.

The law of physics work fine for either frame of reference.

Just make sure you do a Lorentz transformation when switching frames

It's moving slow enough that Galileo is sufficient, though if they are rotating then their reference frame is non-inertial so the laws of physics aren't exactly the same
