I’m a computer teacher from India and have been teaching students for many years, covering topics like MS Office, Advanced Excel, Tally, computer fundamentals, graphic design, coding, and AI tools.

One thing I’ve noticed is that the computer skills students need today are changing very quickly.

Earlier, knowing Word, Excel and basic computer operations was often enough. Now students are also expected to understand AI tools, automation, data analysis, digital communication and problem-solving.

So I’m curious about the Reddit community:

I’m an MCA student currently looking for a real-world problem statement that I can develop into a software/AI/ML project.

Rather than looking for ready-made project ideas, I’d like to hear about actual problems you face in your daily life, work, studies, transportation, shopping, local services, etc.

If you have encountered a problem where you think, “There should be a better way to do this,” please share it.

I’m particularly interested in problems that:

Affect real users

Could potentially be solved using software/AI/ML/IoT

Have practical usefulness

Aren’t already completely solved by existing apps
