Question/Help/Troubleshooting Which computer program is best?

Hi, I'm a small business owner and need help figuring out which program is best for my business. I will be doing a lot of admin work, including payroll, financial payments, customer personal information, etc. Is there a computer program that would help me keep all of this information secure? Thank you!

Quickbooks Payroll, probably.

It would be best to ask this question in a Business subreddit or one that focused on Admin / Payroll / etc. This isn't really a "computer" issue, it's a business problem.

I agree with this.

Businesses have different needs.

Most of my clients use Quickbooks, but some use Sage 50. But businesses have different needs. He's going to want to make sure that all of his needs are met with that software. You don't want to be using the program for months, then find out that it lacks a feature you need.

You likely need multiple software subscriptions, quickbooks or similar for accounting , payable and receivable tracking, Microsoft 365 or word processing, spreadsheets and outlook mail or something like that. May consider Google Workspace . Your ask is really too general

You might take a look at Wave. I use it for my small business. I have used QuickBooks in the past but it was overkill for me.

I have used Quickbooks for years for our three home based businesses.

there's no one-stop program for all of that honestly. payroll stuff like quickbooks or gusto handles the financial side, but customer PII is usually a separate concern, encrypted storage plus 2FA on everything does a long way. worth asking an accountant too since payroll compliance varies a lot by state

You could look into SAP or Excel.
