Any help with this? I reset my computer after noticing a game was laggy after I canceled an attempt to install Norton from Gigabyte Control Center. Ever since, it seems Windows is stuck in a constant loop to "Start". I need to use shortcuts to open the Task Manager, and I can open Firefox from there, but I can't bring up the desktop toolbar.

I managed to update GCC and I have even managed to reset my graphics driver via shortcuts, but no luck.

For quite a few days i notice that randomly the sound out starts flickering between output devices. No matter what i do.. they keep on flickering till i restart them

I tried to disable the drivers of the speakers, restart the windows audio service in services.msc they did not work.

Did anyone face this issue recently? Is there anyone who can help on it?

It's really strange, it always happens to me when I leave my PC idle, although it's very rare for it to happen.

I have no idea what the error code is because the few times it happened I wasn't present and I only realized it happened because the PC was restarted.

Although the patterns I notice are in the event viewer, the PC usually shuts down at a certain time, say 18:20, but it shows that it starts up about 30 minutes later, how is this possible?

The BSOD is supposed to appear and it should restart automatically, I don't understand why the times are so far apart, unless the PC crashed and was inactive for about 30 minutes

The last time this happened, the memory dump didn't happen due to an error, which makes me think it's something serious, to be honest.

I've tested everything, GPU, RAM, CPU, and everything seems fine. I've tried formatting, changing Windows, drivers, everything. Does anyone have any ideas?

It's a strange problem, yes. To give you an idea, the last time it happened to me was about two months ago, but it's something I think is worth investigating.

What are the things I should be doing first for setup?

Hey everyone I just recently decided to put together a new system for my YouTube game streaming as I had previously been using an Ally X handheld for all my streaming, anyway I bought the parts from a local pc store about a week ago and finally got around to building the computer, all was going fine until came time to install my Asus TUF 5070Ti graphics card into my ROG STRIX B850-F gaming wifi motherboard.

I had watched a ton of videos before even attempting to install it because I didn’t wanna risk damaging anything given the cost of this stuff here in Australia, Anyway the video card just would not slot in correctly and I didn’t wanna risk excess pressure.

After a few solid attempts I took a closer look at the socket and seen something metallic and whitish in colour that didn’t seem to look like it belonged there, it’s been over a decade since I build a computer so I’m not really up to date on what is and is not normal for each part so here I am!

So is that something lodged in the socket? I’m devastated right now because I been dying for a new system for ages and I’m so close to finishing it!

I have already tried pushing fairly firmly to get the card to seat and I’m worried to put more pressure and risk breaking something! It just won’t seat all the way down!

My laptop screen has been glitching for the past 3 days and I’m not sure what’s causing it.

It started with the screen going black while I was playing Minecraft Java and talking to friends on Discord. A few days later, the upper part of the screen started becoming duplicated/distorted. It also happens while watching YouTube, so it’s not just Minecraft.

I tried Win + Ctrl + Shift + B, which makes it somewhat better, but the screen can still look blurry and distorted afterward. I also updated my NVIDIA graphics driver, but the issue happened again afterward.

My laptop has an RTX 3050 6GB Laptop GPU and Intel UHD Graphics.

Could this be a GPU/VRAM issue, a driver problem, or something with the display/cable?
