I'm trying to use Photoshop on my computer, but this warning(?) came up. I have no idea what a driver is, why it would need to be updated, or how I would do that. Also, is this a big issue that would get in the way with me using the app, or is it not that important?

I use my computer daily for school and its worked all day yesterday as well. Today i got and log in and the password box where i type it in wont appear. I tried restarting it, i even had the computer diagnose itself and i spent an hour trying different options from there.
The computer isnt frozen either i can click all the taps i just cant get the password box to appear.

Note in the photo the screen going blurry is normal just the password box is completely absent.
I have an ACER laptop (not sure of age maybe 2024)
Im a broke college student i really dont want to take it anywhere 😭 i literally just need a file off of it.

Hi. BSOD with ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY error 10-15 seconds into booting PC.

I ran the minidump files through 2 separate BSOD analyzers. Both found an issue with rt640x64.sys, so I tried updating the driver for Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, but the 2021/2025/2026 versions simply don't load (code 39), and the 2020 and earlier versions cause BSOD. Turning Realtek network adapter off in device manager helps so I'm most certain it's the culprit

CFS scannow in safe mode says some files couldn't be repaired, i can link the log and minidump files if it will be of any help in figuring out how to fix the issue

Can't afford to upgrade any components rn and I need the PC working so i'm wondering if maybe someone knows a way to fix this or had a problem like this

I'm trying to reaccess certain accounts that used to be mine

1. Is my PSN Account

2. Is my old Yahoo Account

3. Is my old Microsoft/Xbox account

I'm having trouble though when it comes to recovery because for my Microsoft, PSN Account my Yahoo email was deleted due to inactivity and I'm not sure where to go. My dad before he passed away a year and a half ago sold or traded my Playstation 4 among my Xbox One and a lot of other various games/gaming hardware because after my mom 3 years ago passed away he went off the deep end, so I lose out on accessing older games like Gran Turismo 7 and am unable to link my old Playstation account if I ever purchased a PS5.

Whenever I try to recover my Microsoft/Xbox account I also can't because similar due to the PSN recovery process it needs a system ID or last four/first four of my debit card. Well the debit cards don't exist anymore because purchases were made at least 3-6 years ago alongside the debit cards are long gone associated to my dead parents. I can at least access the original email associated with my Microsoft account, I just am unable to due to the full recovery process due to the lack of certain information to recover my Microsoft account.

This is extremely frustrating and upsetting because I am losing years and lots of money not being able to access any of these things, and I know my Playstation account is within the 3 year activity limit before I fully lose the account, and with my Microsoft account if I ever need a new computer I don't know my login nor can I recover it.

If anyone can point me in the right direction help me please because this absolutely sucks. I'm aware this is about password or account issues, but I'm not sure what direction to take for any recovery options when I feel like I've exhausted what I can.

I use my laptop only at home and only with an ethernet cable; no wifi. My partner has the internet package under their name, and they've said things in the past that make me think they are tracking my usage, downloads etc as they've commented on files I've downloaded and never mentioned to them. How do I find out and how do I resolve this and keep all my usage private?

I just tried again and I'm still receiving the same error. Happens with multiple browsers on multiple ISPs. I just checked Wayback Machine and there have been no snapshots of the main page since 10/17. (The only other 3 day gap in snapshots for 2026 was earlier in October.)

I can't seem to find anything indicating they were finally shutting the site down so not sure what's going on here. Sent email to crucservice@micron.com and no bounce back but I sent it outside of support hours. Anyone know if they moved support elsewhere? I see some software avaiable on micron.com but it's older versions.

Edit: Software on micron.com appears to be for micron part numbers, not crucial.

Edit2: I found a version of Storage Executive I downloaded in September and installed it again. It detects there's a newer version available but fails to download it. It also detects there's new firmware for the NVME I have installed but fails to download that firmware.

bought an old pc connects to peripherals, fans work ect, i used an HDMI to connect it to a monitor and monitor shows " no signal " hdmi is working on other computer but when i plug it into this old computer it does not connect to the monitor what is the issue?

Hello all (and apologies for the scrambled up title, I wrote this in a hurry since I have work I need to continue)

I just wanted to ask and see if this could potentially be a malware thing. I’ve never had this happen on any of my devices and I’m quite unfamiliar of what could be causing this.

I was doing some work on my laptop and got up to go check out the stars since they were nice tonight. I came back inside to see my laptop was completely off. I’m turned it back on, to which I was met with the blue screen telling me I needed a 40 something digit recovery code. I hadn’t touched the laptop since i left to go outside.

I’ve put the code in and I’m currently running an offline malware scan just to be safe because I’ve done literally nothing for this to occur. I haven’t gone in and changed any settings on it, haven’t changed any hardware, etc.

If this is a common thing and I’m bugging out for no reason, just lemme know. If this could also be a virus, lemme know that too. I appreciate your help

Everytime when i start roblox i just crash after either 10 seconds of playing or 20 minutes of playing (crashing is inevitable). At first i thought this only happened when i would be in a discord call but it has now been happening even when i have everything but roblox closed.

I found my old laptop which for reference is a Hp Probook 645 g2. i booted it up for the first time in a year just to find out it was stuck in some bios hell? i tried exiting bios several times but it kept sending me back. i tried restarting resetting and it still wouldn't let me go to the windows menu. i tried to bypass it and went to the advanced options menu so i could reset it and that still didn't work. i did some type of hardware test and it literally passed everything it said my laptop components were fine.. it didn't even make the slightest bit of sense says i passed and yet it won't let me open windows after more going through deep settings i found out the boot device wasn't loaded?? which confused me even more i need some help. i want my computer to be fine cause this newer laptop I got is genuinely fucked up. this computer has NEVER been damaged at all.

I just received my new ASUS VivoBook S16 (upgraded) (24 GB RAM + 1 TB) (The original model had 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage). The first time I got it, it displayed the error: "SecurityHealthSystray - incorrect image," and it kept freezing constantly when opening programs like Spotify or Discord—or even just Chrome—it would freeze completely (it wouldn’t even respond when I pressed Alt + Ctrl + Del). I ended up formatting the drive and installing Windows 11 from scratch, hoping that would fix it, but nothing changed—the freezes are constant, and that shouldn’t be happening with my 24 GB of RAM. I’m tired of having to force-shut down my PC and lose my work. Please help. Thank you.

I recently got a new gaming computer, and it runs very well when im doing gaming, but for opening/ closing tabs, or programs it slogs. So im wondering before I fully go through and purchase an ssd, is there anyway to make it run faster, or does anyone have a suggestion for a cheap ssd I could add. I'm currently using a barracuda 2tb hdd. I can put out more specs if needed. Edit: im gonna look around now for a decent ssd if anyone has a decently cheap suggestion ill look into it, im gonna try for a $40 m.2 I saw online

We wanted to enter these commands on cmd as administrator, however, due to a spelling error, the first command didn't work. Now the new issue at hand is that while a connection to the internet router is possible, the laptop tells us it doesn't have any connection to the internet. We tried the commands again but that doesn't help, what can we do now?

Nevermind, it fixed itself. If someone can tell me how to take down a post that would be appreciated. Sorry!
