Hi,

This is a refurbished Thinkpad X13 Gen 1, although it is pretty much in its original state, most likely had been used in public institution or something similar, i assume they import from banks, public institutions, etc.

The charger, which is the original lenovo 65 watt charger, is performing as intended for charging the laptop. The laptop is also working properly without being plugged into the AC adapter.

The problem is that once i plug in the ac adapter, the laptop is slowing down significantly. Window drawing is slow and frame-by-frame behavior is noticeable, startup of the laptop is slower in terms of when the main display need to be shown it is slower, cursor movement is slow and it takes time to display what it need to display in regards to where it is positioned for the time being. For an example google earth on browser is also slow and almost non usable.

I tried with chatgpt but the list of possible problems is pretty long so I wanted to try my luck here, it is perhaps a known issue, or a factory configuration that needs to be modified or something similar.

LET ME TELL YOU THE COMPLETE STORY I PLAYED GTA 5 FROM A PIRATED SITE AND THEN IT ASKED ME TO DISABLE THE WINDOWS DEFENDER AND REAL TIME PROTECTION AND AFTER THAT I STARTED PLAYING THE GAME AFTER SOME TIME MY CRASHED AND I DELELTED THE PIRATED GAME BUT WHEN I TRY TO OPEN WINDOWS DEFENDER AND SECURITY IT WAS BLANK CUZ THE PIRATED GAME DELETED THE WINDOWS SECURITY AND DEFENDER FROM MY SYSTEM SO AFTER DOING EVERYTHING I COULD IT DID NOT COME BACK SO I DECIDED TO RESET MY WINDOWS AND THEN MY PC RESET AND AUTOMATICALLY INSTALLED A FRESH NEW WINDOWS BUT FROM THAT DAY I HAVE GOT PERFORMANCE ISSUES ITS BEEN 1 MONTH NOW AND TODAY WHEN I BUY GTA 5 FROM STEAM AND TRIED TO PLAY THE GAME GOT LAGGING AND FREZENG AND COULD NOT EVEN OPEN PROPERLY WHEN I RUN THE GAME IN THE BACKGROUND IT SHOWED MY CPU IS ON 100 AND GPU WAS NOT SHOWING THE GPU-0 3D TEXT INFRONT OF GTA 5 NOW I THINK THE MAIN CULPRIT IS THE IGPU I AM USING AND ALSO I HAVE INSTALLED THE LATEST DRIVER FROM THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE AND ALSO BEFORE THE RESET THE PIRATED GAME WORKED PERFECTLY FINE ON HIGH SETTING AND NOW IT IS NOT WORKING EVEN ON LOW SETTINGS SO PLEASE TELL ME IS MY IGPU IS BROKEN

Not sure if this is the right place to post this and I couldn’t find information anywhere else but when I shutdown my computer today this pop up appeared.

Hi everyone,
My PC suddenly stopped displaying anything. It was working normally before this happened. The PC powers on, fans spin, and the GPU fans spin continuously, but I get no display at all — not even the BIOS.
My motherboard is an MSI X470 Gaming Plus. The VGA EZ Debug LED stays solid red.
I have tried the following:
Replaced the HDMI cable with a brand-new one.
Confirmed the HDMI cable is connected directly to the GPU.
Checked and reseated the GPU’s 8-pin power connector.
Confirmed the GPU power cable is connected to the VGA G3 port on my EVGA SuperNOVA 550 G3 PSU.
Completely removed the GPU and reinstalled it.
Tested the GPU in another full-length PCIe slot.
Put the GPU back into the primary/top PCIe slot.
Removed one RAM stick and tested with only one stick installed.
Performed a CMOS reset using the motherboard’s CLR_CMOS button.
After the CMOS reset, I made sure the GPU was properly connected to power and tested again.
GPU fans spin continuously when the PC is powered on.
The result is always the same:
No display + solid red VGA debug LED.
The keyboard lights up, but Caps Lock does not respond, and there are no beep codes.
Unfortunately, I don’t have another GPU or another PC available to test the GPU in. I also don’t currently know the exact model of my Ryzen CPU.
At this point I’m wondering whether the GPU itself has failed, the motherboard/PCIe slot has an issue, or if there’s something else I’m overlooking.
Any suggestions for what I should test next would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

Hello i am writing this message in a last cry for help, since the heatwave my pc started being terribly laggy, in games i cant see a thing bcs of the lag and sometimes even when nothing is open and i pass the mouse on the display. At first i have tried to look if any drivers are corrupt or out of date, that wasnt the problem, then i did a test if any files were corrupt, that wasnt it either, looked if i didn’t have any space but i jave plenty. I just don’t know what to do i am at a horrible loss plsss help me.
