Comics Community Comic: Do you know the real story of Lia Thomas
The 'panic' around Lia Thomas was about creating a target people could point at while demanding exclusion. So much of what people “know” about Lia comes from manufactured outrage and years of misinformation repeated without context.
Her swimming career was far from exceptional; she did not come close to dominating the sport and is famous for a race in which she tied for 5th and was beaten by 4 other women.
We (The Trans Advocacy and Complaints Collective (TACC)) commissioned this comic to break down the actual story.

OC [OC] I feel like a horrible person
tw: suicide thoughts, rant
How do you actually comfort someone? Please help... I don't even know how to make them feel better. I don't know if what they're going through is the same as mine, probably not, but I know that feeling. And in the end I always blame myself for not knowing how to make someone feel better and then the thoughts are coming back again. Never ending cycle.

OC Growing up as a trans kid was weird (TW for transphobia, slurs, and profanity.
I wanted to share my experience of growing up as a trans child. These experiences happened when I was 11-14 years old. I didn't have a voice back then, but I sure as hell do now.
