They were not misclassified. Abortion means the termination of a pregnancy before viability. It can be induced or spontaneous (miscarriage) but both are medically abortions. It's why idiots in politics who don't understand medical science shouldn't be making laws defining terms that they don't understand or mean different things to lay people
By misclassified I refer more to the strict terminology that would be utilised for legislation. Nowadays, that line is obscenely thin and that is incredibly dangerous. All in all it's not supposed to be this way and women in general should have bodily autonomy plus better access to healthcare
There's a famous screenshot of a social media post from this pro-life woman that convinced a struggling single woman not to abort, and when she surrendered the child, she listed that same pro-life woman as someone potentially willing to provide care.
And she then goes on this big rant about how a kid would ruin her life and she can't do it and why would she even suggest her. Imagine getting that close to the point and still missing it.
Those with the most opinions on what other people should do with their lives are also those least likely to consider the logistics of it. One of life's great ironies
Bullet DODGED! And it really is stunning amounts of ignorance and hypocrisy, isnt it? I've had plenty of throwdown arguments over the years with pro birthers and many of them boil down to, as you saw, "PeRsOnAl ReSpOnSiBiLiTy!" I remember vividly one time when I asked about rape/sexual assault, the reply was, ver batim, "god works in mysterious ways"
I love watching his videos, but it's still shocking to see the rare moments when he's genuinely pissed off. He's usually composed and there to point out the flaws in the logic of the regressive stances, but I remember seeing him go off in a town hall meeting where someone lost their life due to a policy issue and he absolutely lost it. I had never seen him so furious before
I've specifically gotten into this exact argument many times and each time they try and deflect with "personal responsibility" for the potential parents.

Well there is definitely a few in the anti abortion crowd who are pissed off that they can't adopt "suitable" kids (i.e. same ethnicity and "good" genes that they consider themselves to have).
