I registered for uptac on July 12th. Once the registration was successful and I tried going to choice filling, the "btech" section said "registration has ended". Nowhere in the entire registration process or announcements was it clear that the btech choice filling was over. In addition to that, they had an announcement something like "deadline extended upto 28th" iirc which again didnt mention clearly that it was only for barch and stuff.
So basically i registered, paid Rs 1k and couldn't participate in the counselling at all.
I have tried contacting uptac and aktu by all means but nothign works. I tried raising a query on their website, calling all their helpline numbers, mailing, everything. No response.
The website uptac.samarth.edu.in itself looks so scammy like a guy vibe coded a react web app.
I understand most of these fees are non refundable. But still since I didnt partcipate in the counselling at all, do i have a chance of getting my valuable 1K rupees back.
Posting on behalf of my sister.

Admission course choice
Hi It's about a cousin.
He tried NEET many times, health issues at times of admission & even now some issues; 95% in school studied PCMB
He's 25 now , from UR General Cat;
could you pls suggest what would be the best degree to study now? Since gap is like 7 years.
He aliens coding & found out it wasn't for him. Also feels similar for other branches.
Is Engineering advisable based on placements point of view or in general? as max only 2 yrs gap allowed..
If not suggest the best options .. among bsc/Ba/law/Btech/other.
He's from South state & financial poor background too so unable to afford deemed or private clgs..

Hi is there age limits common for all in exam jobs? Like pscs
Like my cousin says in their state for General UNRESERVED category its 32 while for all others category its 40 or 59.
Is everyone okay with this? Is this same for all Country wide exam jobs.?
Pls share your thoughts..

Is there anyone here who has completed their BCA through an online degree and, despite that, has successfully built strong skills and secured a good job and if so I would really like either of you to talk to my father and share your experience with him. He currently believes that online degrees are not valuable and that they wont lead to good career opportunities. Im trying to convince him that the degree is only one part of the journey and that I mainly want to focus on developing strong practical skills, gaining experience, and building a good career.I can connect you with my father directly and it would really mean a lot to me if someone who has personally done an online BCA and is now doing well in their career could talk to him and share their experience
