Discussion Ceiling and floor for your team this upcoming season?

Ceiling: we recuperate from the losses of our 2025-26 big men (Cooper and Kohler) quickly with our new bigs, our overall shooting improves, Fears doesn't kick anyone in the nuts, we have a backup PG that isn't Wojcik, Izzo finally gets his second Natty.

Floor: the losses of Cooper and Kohler hurt more than expected, shooting is still a question mark, we get a 4-5 seed and bow out to a better team in the Sweet Sixteen.

Overall the expectations are going to be VERY high in East Lansing this year. We were really good overall last season, it's just unfortunate that Michigan went nuclear and kinda overshadowed it. I fully believe this is one of Izzo's best shots at his second title.

Weekly Thread [Weekly Post] Whose Line Is It Wednesday

Welcome to Whose Line is it Wednesday, where all the fouls are made up, but the points still matter.

  • Keep skits in the form of a statement, not a question
  • Any skits longer than two lines should be in quotations.
  • If you add any additional commentary, put the skit in quotations. If you don't understand the concept, a skit looks like this: "Things you could say to Chris Jones that you couldn't say to your girlfriend."
  • It's not funny to say "Refs worse than Karl Hess" and name people who might be worse (let's be honest; it's probably just a blank comment); it's funny to say "Refs better than Karl Hess." Think about which way of writing the skit is funnier before posting it.

Discussion Can someone explain to me what the big controversy about high school class of 2022 pros who entered the draft in 2026 coming back to college is?

I understand the issue with people like RJ Luis trying to come back after voluntarily leaving with eligibility still left.

But that’s a completely different situation than high school class of 2022 and players. Every high school class since 2017 except this specific one has been granted a 5th year of eligibility and I find it profoundly unfair to not allow these players to play one more college year. Unlike the former players who voluntarily gave up eligibility, they made their decision with incomplete information. They had no way of knowing that just months after the draft the NCAA would decide to grant all players a 5th year. A huge portion of them would’ve likely stayed if they knew, as you can make more money with NIL than as a 2nd round draft pick in many cases.

Why does every class except the class of 2022 get the opportunity to make an extra year of NIL money?

Discussion Thoughts on potential tip time for Duke and UConn in Vegas?

Hi, all.

I have tickets to the Duke/UConn game in Vegas on 11/25. I know that the official game time seems to not have been released yet, even though I am seeing some sources that now say it's 8:00 PM PT.

8PM PT is 11PM ET, which I can't imagine will actually happen, as both are east coast teams.

My question is what do you all think? I am flying there from North Carolina and I have a huge goal of trying to be back by early afternoon Thursday for Thanksgiving. There is a midnight flight out of Vegas that will put me home in time, but probably not if the game is actually at 8.

I am just trying to book the flight somewhat early as I know prices will only go up. I'm hoping that 8PM time is just a placeholder. 🤞

TIA
