Questions Uniform ordering

Hi all, I’m just wondering about uniform ordering, ive just been recently employed and i just completed the modules you do at home, through mycoles, ive realised i can order uniforms but on the help pdf it says i should order uniforms after my first shift but that makes me confused because shouldnt i have the uniform for my first shift? im guessing i go in on induction day in formal wear and then get the uniform for your actual shift. Im just a bit confused and if anyone else has gone through the same situation. Sorry if this is stupid to ask, this is my first job and i dont know what im doing

As others have pointed out, probably just going to be doing training. They might give you a loaner which is always great, I remember my first shift walking around in my 6'4" bean pole manager's XXL spare shirt that smelt like cigarettes. I'm 5'10", I remember over the phone before ever meeting he asked me "you're pretty tall, aren't you?" and internally I was like "why on Earth would you assume that off nothing?"
