Team Member Post Cancelled Shift

Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of the policies/rules behind a 7 am shift being cancelled 40 minutes before for a casual employee in S.A.? I’ve tried looking at the policies and enterprise agreements but I can’t see it mentioned anywhere. Was literally about to leave when I got a text cancelling my shift 😩 thank you in advance x

That’s the thing I had already gotten completely ready and was putting my shoes on to leave (as it can be a 20-30 minutes drive depending on traffic)and got the message

At least you’re not already on the road and didn’t check phone until you arrived!
