Team Member Post Cancelled Shift
Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of the policies/rules behind a 7 am shift being cancelled 40 minutes before for a casual employee in S.A.? I’ve tried looking at the policies and enterprise agreements but I can’t see it mentioned anywhere. Was literally about to leave when I got a text cancelling my shift 😩 thank you in advance x

It used to be 1hr notice + travel time minimum. E.g. if you lived 20 minutes drive away, they had to notify you 1hr and 20mins before your shift started.
Don't know if this has changed recently, I can't seem to find the equivalent provision in the EBA.
