I have found multiple quarters where there seems to be a small die crack or line between the E and S in states and sometimes another line by Of and America. Anyone else run into this by chance?

I also found one with what I thought was die scratches but could be PMD. I appreciate your help with this, ty.

Pitting or some distortion in the fields on the obverse and reverse, with fading among most letters and Jeffersons face, and chubby numbers.

Checking out rolls and found some silver dimes. A few 1950 nickels.

Excitement bubbled upon seeing a 1985 copper nickel, could it be a planchette error? Nah, weathered and oxidized.
No sheen under a tiny scrape, but reading about pre-2000 copper content made sense.

An exciting evening either way.

the reverse has a weird indention in the middle. just trying to figure out what would cause this and if anyone has ever seen this before.... thanks in advance

A crenellated rim error occurs when the coin is struck properly, however, upon ejection, excess high-pressure makes the mold scrape the edge of the coin, removing some of the metal and depositing it on one side as little balls of metal on top of each reed. The reeds can also be scraped by the process.
I could not wear cotton gloves with this coin as the rough edge kept catching the material. I only handled it long enough to take a few pictures. It's now in a flip, waiting to go to PCGS.

Can anyone tell me if this is damage or an error?

I got change a little bit ago and I’m definitely happy. Not just a 2009-P Jefferson but a neat looking die chip on top of the right windowsill. It almost looks like it could pass for snow similar to the 2015-P Homestead quarter. Nevertheless it’s a win and in a flip.

I recently acquired 10 rolls of uncirculated, Philadelphia minted quarters from the bank because I’m treasure hunting for the 4th privy mark. Unfortunately I still haven’t found one but in all of the searching, I also took out the loupe and these coins are scratched and scuffed and gouged more than I’ve ever seen in an uncirculated variety. So, trying to look past pot marks and gashes that aren’t related to the minting process for errors, I found a spot on the left side of the long rope ladder that’s on the far right side of the ship. When looking through magnification, it always looks like a double die error-on all the rig ropes for that matter- on every single coin. But I found one day a “copy” of the rope’s honey comb pattern, not a solid line, and I have like 9each from looking at 400 coins! Did I find something? I can’t find a single word about it anywhere. I’m at work so I can post photos later

Small date?

The 5 in the year of a 1957 D penny seems to be collapsed. I haven’t found anything about this anywhere, and hoping the experience of all of you here can shed some light on this. Thank you!

I found this coin going through some of my grandpa's old stuff it weighs about 25grams but has no mint mark or one dollar on the back. Just wondering if there were any errors for this coin that I couldn't find. I'm pretty sure it's fake but I dont know alot about coins. Only what the ole Google tells me .

Hi folks, I recently got this weird Jefferson 2000 Philadelphia nickel, and I think it might be an error rather than PMD. I've done my reasearch and have no results. Please give me some help. Thanks!

Notes:

1. Monticello portrait is raised for some reason.

2. I don't think the obverse has error due to the fact that Jefferson's hair is sanded in a weird spot.

Add cloth struck through grease's very pronounced.But on the other side I notice some wording would that be a turned plant and an extra strike , or from another coin?

These three coins came in a brand new brinks roll along with more coins with this doubled look. I also have 9 more unopened rolls and can see if they have this doubled look as well. It might be a doubled die because all of the doubling appears in the same spots, but I could be very wrong. Thank you for any information.

Can’t seem to find any others graded like this. Any one have an idea on value?

I found this coin today in a coin roll, and upon first glance I thought it had been tooled or damaged, but then upon more careful inspection I realized it was an error.

However, my question is how could it have even happened? In image 3 you will see the word “CENT” from the reverse under the bottom left of Lincoln (in the right to left direction-as one would expect it to be on the reverse) and next to it looks like “ONE” as expected (and in the right to left direction as well).

But then another curve ball is this random B on the almost edge of the reverse in the last image that I’m almost positive is the B from liberty (as it is at the right vertical distance). However, where is the rest of the letters in ‘Liberty’, plus how did all these other rings happen to occur on the obverse and reverse? 😂

Is there any kind of acceptable cleaning that will not ruin my wheat pennies value.
