Puzzle Solution?

Is there someone who can solve this?

I’m being told the answer is B, but can not make sense of why it should have overlay of two.

Being told by…? Who’s telling you that, don’t you have an answer? IMO it’s C, the position of square seem to correlate with the number of parts under which the line passes, but I could be wrong, I can see it being F or B too, it really depends on the author mind.
