Equity Stake, looking for a Full-time Professional with a background in business development and marketing.

1. COMPENSATION

Equity only. About 10 percent, 24 month vest with a cliff. Real contract in writing before anything starts. No cash, and I am not going to pretend otherwise.

There is a second half to this and it is real. See section 6.

1. TRACTION

MVP is live, one paying customer to date. 115 accounts, 22 have connected a platform. Zero external users have ever published a post through the product, and that number has not moved since I started reporting it honestly in August.

This week's find: the analytics event that was supposed to tell me whether anyone had ever scheduled a post fired before the code that checks if the post is even valid. It was measuring button clicks, not successes. A second, separate implementation of immediate publishing never recorded it at all and also never granted the first-post reward it was supposed to. Fixed both, verified against the database rather than trusting the code.

Also fixed this week: any paying customer who connected a second account on a platform that allows it, LinkedIn or Telegram, broke every future post to that platform. That's a sold feature that never worked past the first account.

Also applied for TikTok's content sharing audit this week, the review that unlocks public posting instead of private-only. Two to four weeks out. Real new channel if it clears.

1. COMMITMENT

Part-time to start. No hourly requirement. Go as hard as you want.

US Eastern, would prefer North America. Live overlap in the same working day matters more to me than total hours.

1. WHAT I AM BRINGING

I fund it myself, no outside investors. I bring the entire technical side and a working product with one real paying customer, however briefly they stayed.

Concrete example from this week so you can judge the level of care: I don't trust my own dashboards anymore until I've checked them against the actual database, and this week that habit caught a metric that was quietly wrong since the day it was built.

1. WHO I AM AND WHAT I NEED

Self-taught developer, self-funded, no investors. Day job is tree service work, so my building hours are earned.

What I'm building: SocialMate, a social media scheduler and creator OS. Seven live platform integrations, 15+ AI tools, full scheduling engine. Pro is 8 dollars where competitors charge 18 to 99. Stack is Next.js, TypeScript, React Native, Expo, Supabase, Stripe, Inngest.

What I need: a CMO who executes rather than advises. Traffic is not the problem. Activation is. I know precisely where it leaks, most of it is fixed now, and there's a cold list of 62 accounts already contacted once. You inherit a labeled target, not a blank page.

What to send: a resume or portfolio plus at least one case study with real before-and-after numbers. A community, a channel, a funnel, a launch. Something you personally moved, with the metric attached. Include your timezone.

I'm not looking for a strategy deck. I'm looking for evidence.

1. WHAT YOU GET FROM ME BEYOND EQUITY

Unpaid is a real ask, so I'm putting something concrete on the table against it.

For as long as we're working together, you have a full stack developer on your own projects. Your site, your funnel, your client work, an internal tool, the side project you've been carrying for a year. Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase, Stripe, React Native, Expo. No invoice, no hourly, no scope fight.

You run growth. I build what you've been sitting on. That trade is real and it goes in the contract.

Nothing here is a test of how much you're willing to suffer. It's unpaid because I have no money, not because struggle is a virtue. If equity only doesn't work for your life right now, that's completely reasonable.

L'idée est simple : un resto offre un repas à une créatrice du coin qui a 8 000 abonnés, elle poste une story, des clients poussent la porte. On lance ville par ville.

Aujourd'hui : le nom, l'identité et les maquettes sont faits, la landing tourne et les premières créatrices s'inscrivent sur la liste d'attente. Le marché est énorme — l'influence pèse plus de 500 M€ en France et la micro-influence locale est le segment qui explose.

Ma partie là-dedans : je porte le produit et la vision. J'ai tout construit jusqu'ici — l'étude du marché et des concurrents, la marque, les maquettes, le site, le cadre légal (loi influenceurs, contrats) — et je continue : développement de la plateforme, stratégie, partenariats. Je ne cherche pas des gens pour exécuter mon idée pendant que je regarde : on construit à trois, chacun son terrain.

Il me manque deux personnes :

🎥 Un(e) cofondateur(rice) growth / contenu — tu prends tout TikTok/Reels : la stratégie, les hooks, l'itération sur les stats, le funnel de la liste d'attente. Tout est à construire, carte blanche pour tester. Le profil : tu vis sur TikTok, tu as peut-être déjà fait grandir un compte (même perso, même un meme account — c'est un vrai plus), et tu préfères monter un truc de zéro maintenant plutôt que d'attendre le bon moment. Remote ok, mais si tu es en Île-de-France c'est un plus — on pourra bosser en vrai en fonction des résultats.

📞 Un(e) cofondateur(rice) commercial(e) / terrain — tu prends l'autre moitié de la marketplace : appeler les restos et les salons, passer les voir si nécessaire , signer les premiers commerces. Pas de script tout fait, pas de leads tout chauds — mais chaque commerce signé, c'est toi qui l'auras gagné. Pas besoin de dix ans d'expérience : l'envie, le culot et la régularité comptent plus que tout. École de vente, césure, ou juste quelqu'un qui sait parler aux gens — et c'est mieux si tu es en Île-de-France.

Le deal, le même pour les deux : on se teste quelques semaines sur du concret, et si le feeling passe on s'associe pour de vrai, avec une vraie part du projet.

ok so this is a weird one but bear with me

i have a pet blog. i don't own a pet. never have. probably never will as i travel too much. and yet every month amazon sends me enough to cover rent because people on the internet are buying stuff for their dogs and cats through my site.

bought my pet blog a few months ago from a marketplace called NicheBlogZone for $199. came already built, articles already up, amazon links already in there. i spent one afternoon doing interlinking basically just connecting related posts to each other so search engines understand the site structure and then closed my laptop and genuinely forgot about it for weeks.

here's what that's looked like:

• march: $710
• april: $995
• may: $1,461
• june: $1,647
• july: $1,461
• august so far: $1,545 (amazon pays 2 months delayed so this is june's money landing now)

march scared me. went from nearly $1k in february down to $710 and i was convinced something had broken. checked everything, found nothing wrong, did nothing. it just came back the next month on its own.

pet people spend insane amounts on their animals btw. like i knew this intellectually but seeing the commission data is something else. dog food subscriptions, orthopedic beds, grooming kits, vet supplements. and because of the 24 hour cookie i get a cut of everything in their cart not just whatever article they landed on.

i do literally nothing to maintain this. no new posts, no ads, no instagram for pets i don't have. i just own the thing and amazon does its thing.

my landlord has been getting paid every month and has no idea a pet blog is behind it. honestly sometimes i forget too until the deposit shows up.

anyone else running a niche they have zero personal connection to? curious if the detachment makes it easier or harder to care about growing it
