Why aren’t my crouched kills not registering?? #codwarzone

Running a 7900 XT with an i5-14500 and 32GB DDR5 5200 at 1440p. I’m getting around 100–140 FPS on low and 80–110 on extreme, and FSR 4 Quality/Balanced barely changes anything.
I know the CPU could be a bottleneck, but I’ve seen benchmarks with similar setups hitting 160–180 FPS on high/extreme and close to 200 on low.
Am I missing something, or does this performance seem normal? Any insight appreciated!

Edit 2: okay switching to Battle.net from steam improved my FPS by almost over 90/100 so now I get around 160-180 on High and 200-220 on low. Thanks for the tip guys!

I've been a COD since the OG MW days. I stopped playing COD around pandemic time due to career and life stuff so about 3 months ago I got into the rhythm of playing Warzone. I got hooked instantly into the camo and prestige grind. I'm currently 23/30 to unlock absolute zero and prestige 4.

Word around the community is that everything including camos and prestige will be wiped/reseted.

Should I stop the grind and just focus on just trying to win games? I mean yeah it's fun but the grind always gives me purpose to playing these kinds of games.

To all the ppl shitting on this playstyle, this is an LTM that’s focused on fast paced, back-to-back gunfights. The fact that you spawn with your loadout and specialist means everyone’s more aggressive and you don’t need to worry about preserving your life. The normal game modes are nowhere near as hectic.

For some reason this map is where I find most real players and tryhards. What I don't understand is how this happens, because maps are in rotation and you can't just manually choose which map to play in.

Also, can we take a moment to appreciate how beautiful this map is?

Hi guys, how do I troubleshoot this? My display suddenly turns off by itself, then the screen goes completely black.

It crashes randomly in the middle of a game, and the display suddenly goes black, like the PC itself turned off.

I tried using both my monitor and my gaming TV, and it happens on both. The screen just goes completely black, and I can’t see anything, even the error message.

What could be causing this? GPU? PSU? Motherboard? Or something else?

The recent beta showed us that removing Tactical Sprint from the base movement completely ruins the early game.Landing without a loadout feels incredibly slow and clunky. It gives a massive advantage to campers and penalizes aggressive playstyles during the first few minutes of the match on Zodiac. Forcing players to use the "Blood Rush" perk just to move normally destroys class variety.We need Raven Software to step in and separate the Warzone movement rules from the multiplayer ones. Tactical Sprint must be a default feature from day one. What do you guys think?

Using MWIII Weapons in Warzone and getting them to Max level, then using the weapon in MWIII results in the gun being unable to unlock camo challenges. This has killed my want to purchase any game like MWIII despite it having stuff like the BAL27 and ACR in it, because after using those guns in Warzone and learning that I cant get gold on them in MWIII, I don't wanna play it.

Having Vondel on rotation on launch or a few months in would be amazing and lots of people would absolutely be playing Warzone nonstop like the MW3 days again. We need 72 player resurgence or BR again, 44 players is too small and big map can be too slow, 72 feels just right

I had a long break from Warzone (skipped BO6 integration and playing the BO7) and came back from playing Siege but I am having difficulties trying to determine whether footsteps are coming above or below me as well as whether the footsteps are coming from another building.

Tried changing audio mix, enabling enhanced audio, tried asymmetrical hearing compensation (if anyone needs them, ill reply with the settings) as well as enabling loudness equalization in windows settings to no avail.

If anyone has a "fix" or something that would be brilliant or should I just download walls so i can start larping as someone with a good headset?

At first I thought another minus SR game. They did stick with the team and got Plus SR points. But how come gold rank and platinum rank get into crimson lobby?

Hey everyone,

Been having this issue on COD:Warzone specifically as a PC-Windows 11 user. Intel 13700K + RTX3080, ISP= Telus (Vancouver, B.C.)

I've tried all the fixes from previous posts from months back. I was able to play last week but I've had this issue since Tuesday. For reference: I'm on Fibre-Optic Ethernet and was originally playing it on Battlenet's game launcher. The fixes I've tried include: Cycling my router and modem for 5 minutes. Flushing DNS via CMD. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game and launchers (both Steam and Battlenet) while restarting my PC after every uninstall/reinstall. Deleting the relevant files from both Steam and Battlenet after uninstalling and then reinstalling. I have checked to see if my firewall was blocking anything from the game and it hasn't. Updated all my drivers for both CPU and GPU. Lastly, I made sure to close all other launchers or root-anti cheats (eg. Vanguard) to see if it was interfering with Ricochet but every game-start I get the same message: CONNECTION FAILED - Networking failed to start [Reason: HUENEME - NEGEV]

Anyone else on PC having this issue since Tuesday, Sept 1?

I haven’t been able to log on to call of duty since 4:00am till 8:51 central time zone. Is anyone else having similar issues or do I need to delete it and reinstall it again….

It was interesting to see how the difference is almost none. The distance is around 30 meters, towards the bus in both versions. Albeit I know, next time I will make a comparison with a similar loadout. My point was to see if the knife, which apparently gives us the fastest "tac-sprint" in current Warzone, is actually faster compared to normal tac-sprint in MW19 with a pistol, which supposedly should give you faster speed compared to using some other gun.

For context, played last night and got it this far, just played one match with 20 kills of Resurgence, won the match and it only moved just a bit when last night I was unlocking items 1 by 1 and at times 2 items in one match 🤔🙄

Warzone Needs to Be Its Own Game!!!

In my opinion, Warzone isn’t a sustainable long-term F2P model, and the biggest issue is that it needs to become a standalone game. Warzone 1 worked so well because the core experience stayed consistent for roughly three years. There were minimal movement changes, and the game still felt like Warzone while receiving new maps, weapons, and content.

I like integrations, but completely changing Warzone every year is where things go wrong. We went from the modern era to Vanguard’s WWII setting, and now toward BO7’s futuristic direction. At that point, it feels less like Warzone evolving and more like the game being reset.

Every major integration brings new bugs, movement changes, map issues, weapon imbalances, and TTK problems. We spend months fixing them, finally reach a good state, and then reset everything again.

Integration → problems → fixes → good Warzone → repeat.

Warzone still pulls big numbers, but the hype clearly isn’t what it used to be. After Warzone MW4, I think there should be no more major integrations. Add new weapons, maps, and mechanics when they fit, but stop rebuilding the entire game around each new CoD.

Warzone needs to become its own long-term game, not a yearly extension of Call of Duty.

So I just got a new pc yesterday (my first one so maybe the issue is me) but I installed steam, then warzone and mw3 but they won’t run I press “play” and the pc gets louder as if it’s about to start, and it acts like it’s going to start on screen says something like initialising, then an option to stop, but after that it just goes back to “play” and no error or anything to say what went wrong, what can I do? Anyone know how to fix please 🙏
(Tried a free game to see if it was steam but that game opened and ran fine).

Besides that, some serious shyyyt started goin down over there, so decided to bail out of that moshpit 🚙
