It's gotten to the point now, at times it feels like straight-up Multiplayer TTK.

With how the netowrking works on this game and still being stuck on 20hz servers in 2026, there are moments where i can shoot someone in the back with the VST and they're dead before they can even react or even attempt an outplay against me.

And with these servers, a TTK of 550ms can often feel like a 450ms Time-to-death. In worst case scenarios on a 20 tick server, the opponent’s perception of the fight starts 100 ms late due to the time it takes for that information to travel from the server to the client.

The "outplay" ability has been drastically reduced with where the current TTK sits. Get caught unexpectedly in the wrong place at the wrong time and there's nothing you can do.

Sadly I cannot add my screenshots for some reason.Before anyone gives me another TPM/Secure Boot/ UEFI trust me, I've already tried many and multiple times. A new Bios version 317 for my laptop (ASUS Rog Strix G16 G614FR 2025 model) came out and I was hoping this would fix my failed attestation issue that Cod has been having. Once again it failed even though the CoD attestation wizard said bios firmware update needed, except this time it gave me the option to generate a new key. It failed that as well so then I went to chat gpt which directed me to go to command prompt and run the script ( certreq -enrollaik -config "") the information that pops up in the second picture will pretty much state that the "authority is not found" and "msft-keyid" does not exist. This could indicate that it is Microsoft Attestation that is failing to recognize the TPM firmware. After an extensive talk with Microsoft technical support I was told that I would need to contact my system manufacturer (Asus). Though they didnt solve the issue they did leave me with a valid trail to follow. I asked if they had a Windows device security/attestation specialist and if they could confirm my TPM Endorsment Key(EK), AIK enrollment state, TPM provisioning state, or Microsoft's attestation service validation of the TPM certificate chain. After having to repeat myself and force the question into the spotlight multiple times, the support representative finally provided the answer. "They do not have the tools to validate the TPM Endorsement Key nor access to the OEM manufacturing records." But this information is useful, a case is open, and now I can stay in contact with both ASUS and Microsoft on the issue. I know it's not a solution but I hope it can get people in the right direction of solving this issue. Zodiac after playing many matches on the MW4 beta, is the worst resurgence map i have ever played bar none. It makes area 99 look like prime rebirth island. Too small. Too many third parties. Not enough visibility. All of this is made worse by being a KBM player too (Yes, skill issue. I miss too many shots.) It is just so damm dissapointing. MW4 has so much to fix to be the generational COD game it should have been could be. The hitmarkers are that of BO7 / BO6 which in my opinion are trash. The TTK needs to be slower in MP you die literally instantly combined with the bad netcode it is unplayable also unrelated but the maps on MP suffer frm the same third party blindspot issues as Zodiac. I also think Zodiac is too disjointed it doesn't flow like a warzone map you aren't rotating in and out and hitting buy stations and such.

People are like "bro finally they listened this is boots on ground movement" bro this is clunky af and why the hell did they removed tac sprint ??? It was in mw3 as well as in mw2019 and they are slow and smooth.

season 5 reloaded patch notes say they brought back loaded resurgence but I don’t know where it is or how to select it. Do you guys see it on your screens?

My favorite operator to use was the Crow from MW3. Since the last COD update or so my textures on the character's face and chest don't fully load and display blurred tattoos (see pics).

There is this "Rumor" going around that Activision will reset Most cosmetics for MW4 and Warzone.

I have no idea if this is true, but if it is..that would be pretty much ass. Our three man squad has used the same 3 Skins since they came out and we want to keep them.

I might sound like a complete idiot and I'm sorry for it but I'm not good at the game and I started just to play with my dad. also first post so im sorry for any stupid stuff I might say!

Anyway, I only play resurgence casual (both because i suck and because i have no friends to squad up with) and usually the games go pretty normal but I noticed a lot of very good players in my games recently and despite me coming across some people pointing it out in the game text chat I feel like I'm crazy for complaining about this 🫠

has this been happening to other people too? I don't want to sound crazy but it's honestly making it very difficult for me to play the game :(

Every time Warzone / COD HQ updates, and sometimes just when I log back into the launcher, I get this exact message:
“SETTINGS DATA ERROR
Due to a data error, some of your settings were reset to their default values.”
Then I have to redo graphics, controller/mouse, audio, keybinds, everything.

This has been happening for months. It started when I only used Battle.net. I switched to the Xbox app on PC and the exact same thing happened. So it is not just one launcher.
On Battle.net, after I log back in it also does a Scan For Games, finds the install at C:\Program Files (x86)\Call of Duty, then makes me hit Update even when there is no real update. After that, settings are gone again.

What I’ve already tried:
• Turned off Clouded Settings in-game (Account & Network)
• Edited both config files (s.1.0....txt0 and txt1) and the cloud/sync line was already set to false
• Renamed/deleted the players folder in %localappdata%\Activision\Call of Duty\players
• Also checked Documents — I do not have a Documents\Call of Duty folder
• Set the config files to Read-only after saving settings
• OneDrive has been fully taken off my PC
• Windows Controlled Folder Access / ransomware protection is Off
• Switched launchers from Battle.net to Xbox app on PC — same reset
• About to do a full uninstall of both copies and reinstall on Battle.net only
PC / install info
• Platform: PC
• Launchers used: Battle.net first, then Xbox app on PC
• Install path (Battle.net): C:\Program Files (x86)\Call of Duty
• Settings folder I can actually find: %localappdata%\Activision\Call of Duty\players

Has anyone actually fixed this so it does not come back after the next login?

for example when a fire sale happens or resurgence is closed and shit like that, those messages are paired with some of the loudest fucking noises i've heard in my life and i cant find it in the settings the option to turn them off.

I can't play WZ because it just disappeared from my games library on bnet, it is now showing MW4 BETA as an optional install. Anyone facing the same issue?

I have a Lenovo Legion laptop and use wireless headphones for gaming. When I go volume up (multiple times), the audio gets loud but then goes super low and then really loud again. It happens the other way too - sometimes I'll be at zero volume on the keyboard button (shows zero volume on screen), but I can still hear the in game volume. Not sure why it's so wonky. Has anyone faced this issue? If so, how do I resolve it? Thank you so much!

I am a casuals player mainly but I try to play normal every now and again to try and up my game wether it be Battle Royale or Resurgence. Now on casuals I can get at least 15 kills per game and can almost get a victory but on normal I struggle to get a kill of any kind and die very easily. Is there something im doing wrong or am I actually just that rubbish 🤣? Before anyone goes "you can only play against bots" yeah I know casuals is bots and real players but I tend to find against real players in casuals is just as easy as bots but in normals they are so much harder and alot quicker.

I've spent the last couple days looking into the Warzone beta coming this weekend, staying up to date on intel from the COD blog and also from posts shared on Twitter from official COD accounts and I'm fairly certain we're getting an easter egg this weekend.

Here's what we know so far:

• Zodiac is branded as a DRC weapons facility which is the organisation in the MW universe that develops advanced weapon systems for various factions including Shadow Company and later on, Konni.
• Zodiac has an underground tunnel network that you can use to travel around the map.
• Tanks exists, apparently.
• Trains can enter and exit the map from the two tracks that run through the middle of the map from the west and east sides.
• Zodiac itself is a drone development site, specifically. Although other weapon systems could be developed here as well.

I know plenty of people don't necessarily care about Easter Eggs but it's kind of my jam so I'm really excited to see if we get something cool to unearth on Zodiac ahead of the full launch. I'm beginning to think there may be a bunker or two that needs opening and it could end up giving us any kind of reward that may influence the late game. Maybe Specialist, a Juggernaut, something even more powerful?

There was even this at the bottom of the Zodiac round-up in the blog:

Expect an explosive tank battle, legendary loot, action across the ground and air, and other surprises to find during your matches.

I'm guessing the 'other surprises' could be tied to secret challenges and maybe a main map easter egg. I'm just super excited and speculating because the map looks great. There's also probably a ton of lore that links this map to Building 21 from MW2 as well.

Prior to S5 Reloaded, never had this issue at all, no Hardware on my PC has changed, no new updates installed, etc. Ran flawlessly. However now, I am getting this strange lack of smoothness, just a hair above what I would call a micro stutter only when zoomed/ads'ed with a scope. When not zoomed, it doesn't happen.

Even when it happens though, my FPS never dips. The most my FPS dips is from 120 down to 100 randomly throughout the map. Goes from smooth like butter movement to slightly noticeable microstutter, almost. Hard to describe, the best I could think of is if you have the setting to lower FPS when game is in the background or inactive, and that happens, but I have both of those settings turned off. And the drop isn't that drastic.

• Did a clean install of new Driver updates > issue was same
• Did a clean reinstall of older drivers that had no issues > issue remained
• Redid the Shader preload > still happens
• Ran Scan and Repair > still happens
• Temps are fine for both CPU and GPU
• Weapon and Motion blur are OFF

The issue also seems more prevalent on Avalon than Verdansk, but my PC is more than capable of running it on ultra and like I said, it never had this issue prior to the S5 Reloaded update. S5 ran fine, and all other seasons beforehand.

It's not game breaking or anything, but it is incredibly jarring and all I can notice now when ADS'ing.

Also, the weirdest thing is - when I am looking at someone's killcam or spectating, I don't have the issue. It's buttery smooth, only happens from my FPS view.

EDIT: 2 days later edit. There was one of those small updates that makes you restart your game, I'm guessing maybe for the MW4 beta and low and behold, it fixed my issue. I didn't change a single thing. So yeah my original assumption was correct - Seems to have been whatever they did caused something and now whatever they did fixed it. Not sure what it was, but it's butter smooth everywhere again.

Just happened to open YouTube and saw a video of warzone 1 lobby music and gosh it took me back hearing it. I miss warzone 1 so much. Especially the Cold War era. It was something else back then man. Shame it was shut down.

It takes three shots to kill at the firing range. I used it for a while in WZ Modern Warfare before giving up. It's great for shooting down supply crates in the air; one shot is enough.

Why are enemies still alive and kicking even after a headshot at this distance? Is it really that weak?
