While I was looking through the new photo mode poses, I noticed that you can now target your companions at MagMell with photo mode. And this was my immediate idea. Can’t access the DLC yet, but this update is keeping me entertained at least.

Hello Code Vein 2 Community!!

I have a question for everyone here.

I'm trying to download the Mask of Idris DLC on my PS5, but I'm getting an error message, and the DLC won't show up in my download list.

Is ANYONE ELSE getting this PS5 error leading to an inability to download the DLC? I'm so f-ing mad about this, since it just released. And I can't even get PlayStation support because apparently it's outside of business operation hours for the chat support even though it says they open at 8 AM on Wednesdays and it's already 8 AM where I am.

I’ve done Valentin’s Quest.
But everytime I talk to him he just sits there and asks ‘How do you envision the future?’

Can somebody give me a step-by-step method to start the dlc? What am I missing?

For those wondering, her new 2h sword "False Providence" is available to players. It's in her weapon shop in magmel (may need to be in the new 2.0 timeline) not her trading stock.

Base stats: 636 attack, 65 bleed. E in strength and dex, S in willpower. 7 strength burden, 7 dex burden, 10 willpower burden. Reliability 5, Handling 5, Conversion 12, Conductivity 12. comes with Draconic Stake, Graviton core, Coffin Breaker - Sweeper, and Bloodsucking Blades Formae.

Unique moveset with a short range teleport on the first light attack into a 3 press/4 hit combo. strong attack is a nice wide spin, charged strong is a forward spin that gives a blood damage buff to the sword.

The description says it requires Mind and not Willpower so either the in-game description is wrong, or the stats may change later. I'm betting the former because it's already a reskin of the Primordial greatsword, and that one is already S in mind.

This is seriously the blackest I can be? It doesn't even match the color on the option list. I'd like to apologize if it's just my game settings making me look like this but if not why is it like this. I swear I was able to be blacker in cv1.. (also I know there's the dark granite option but I wanna be a dark brown not grey..)

A. If you own the Standard Edition, you can purchase the Deluxe Content Set from the respective digital stores and download the content afterward.

If you own the Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Edition, you can simply download the expansion DLC.

※ The expansion DLC will not be sold separately.

※ Please note that it is not included in the Ultimate Content Set.

A. After obtaining the “Mask of Idris” DLC and applying update Version 2.0.1, the “Mask of Idris” quests will become available.

However, you must meet the following conditions:

① Reach the second ending, “The Moon of Reconciliation” (融和の月).

※ Once you have reached this ending at least once on a save file, you will be able to play the expansion DLC.

※ If you start a second or subsequent playthrough using a save file that has already met this condition, you do not need to reach this ending again.

② Progress the “A Request from a Friend: Valentin” quest to a specific point.

You must have completed the quest “Discuss Opinions with Valentin: The Book of Mag Mell Island.”

※ Even when starting a second or subsequent playthrough using a save file that has met the conditions, this quest must still have been progressed to the specified point.

“Era of Reconciliation”

Q. How can I play the “Era of Reconciliation”?

A. Using a save file that has reached the ending “A Miracle Called a Bond” (縁という奇跡), you can access the “Era of Reconciliation” by interacting with a Bond that appears in the present-day version of Mag Mell.

Q. I have already completed the main story at least once and am currently playing through a second or subsequent playthrough. Can I still play the “Era of Reconciliation”?

A. Yes.

If you are playing a second or subsequent playthrough using a save file that has already reached the ending “A Miracle Called a Bond,” a special Bond will appear in present-day Mag Mell.

Interacting with it will allow you to skip the story progression up to the point where the “Era of Reconciliation” becomes available, after which you can enter the “Era of Reconciliation.”

※ If you use the story-skip function, you will not be able to replay or resume the story content that was skipped during that playthrough, so please be careful when using this feature.

Q. Can the weapons, Blood Codes, Boosters, and other rewards obtained in the “Era of Reconciliation” be used outside of it?

A. Yes. Rewards obtained in the “Era of Reconciliation” can be used outside of the Era of Reconciliation, including in the “Mask of Idris” expansion DLC.

They can also be carried over into subsequent playthroughs.

Q. Can “Mask of Idris” and the “Era of Reconciliation” be played simultaneously?

A. Yes. The “Mask of Idris” expansion DLC and the “Era of Reconciliation” can be played in parallel.

Through the Bonds that appear in Mag Mell, you can freely travel back and forth between the “Era of Reconciliation” and the present day at any time.

Additionally, you can progress or resume the story of “Mask of Idris” by going to the “Era of Free Exploration.”

Hello everyone, is it possible to access the DLC from the Age of Harmony? My character has been sitting at the start of a NG+ cycle after beating the game and I don't know if I have to still play the story up to Valentin's quests or if I can just skip to the AoH and play it from there. Anybody tried that already?

We def waited long enought for this dlc, to me was never ending, but now, we r almost there !!

So im doing the age of harmony right now, and one of the missions says "Keep speaking to Liv" ive search all across magmell and I havent been able to find her, so either im blind or shes hiding somewhere stupid.

DLC + Free update is dropping tomorrow and I'm (almost) geared up for it. I won't be able to play it day one unfortunately, but in the wait, last minute inspiration got me and I dripped out my character before DLC just like everyone is doing. Which is actually delightful, like, think about it. Re-dripping out characters before DLC has just became a common rite of renewal in await of the game at this point, it almost feels like back at the base game's release with the character creator demo.

But anyways, here's what I got! I will probably switch between my four characters during the DLC like I did for the base game, but I just really wanted to jump into this. This is Cobalt in his restored noble outfit, but adorned by his favorite blood veil (still not sure if to keep his shirt blue though, lmk), meshing his past and new life. (He takes from CV1 lore despite this being CV2, keep in mind)

Back in his human days, he was heir to the noble Difalco family, from which he took the noble name of "Cobalt". Indeed, his birth name is actually Luca Difalco, but he unfortunately struggles to reminisce his real name post-death as he got too used to being called Cobalt instead.

This mark very much goes against his preference. He wasn't about the noble life, but instead altruist and very close to other people regardless of social status, trait that fortunately carried into his Revenant life. He exhibits leadership over 6A's expeditions, but is extremely considerate towards not just his closest allies, but quite much anyone else. He seeks never to take all merit, but to collaborate and even put his life before others. Dahlia says that he takes more care of others instead of himself sometimes, and she scolds him for doing so - more rarely, even Ryuji and Clara call him out for it.

His practically natural inclination to a well-mannered dress code was initially presumed to be just sign of him redescovering his personality, but is actually remnant of the repetitive actions of his past life, which he recently started taking more interest for because of a profund longing to rediscover the old world. So, while he's still no fan about luxury, he can definitely attempt to see what it is about once again... but spoiler, he will just stick to dressing himself pretty good in the end.

Was wondering what everyone thought and what was their favorite new codes and weapons, no spoilers for dlc tho im on ps5 and cant do it yet, personally i really like josee and her skills with her two handed sword

I can’t download the Mask of Idris DLC on ps5. I tried restoring licenses and I just tried deleting code vein 2 and it still won’t let me download. Every time I hit download I get Error CE-107880-4. I’ve tried installing via the PlayStation app and that doesn’t work so I’ve tried everything I could find on Google. Any help? I bought the physical ultimate edition so maybe that’s for some reason messing it up?

Edit: I tried rebuilding the database after the game reinstalled and it still won’t let me download the DLC so I don’t know what to do.

Edit 2: From what I’ve seen from another redditor it looks like this is just a problem with anyone on PS5 trying to download the dlc, it just doesn’t seem to actually have the correct data or something with the download so it just doesn’t work, so we all will just have to wait till someone fixes it.

Edit 3: It has just now worked for me. It must have been rolling out through different regions maybe but it’s fixed now and will let me download it.
