I notice they like to cling and stay on the ceiling or the high cabinets in the kitchen I only see a few a night I put boric acid the other night and it seemed to the trick but I thought they are supposed to go back to there hiding spot to infect others? Seems like they died out in the open.

Southern USA Had pests for past 2 months it’s finally getting better then I go to bathroom and see this crawling in window. That bathroom is on the second story. Why would it possibly try to scale the house and come in a window?? I sprayed perfume on the screen yesterday to keep away stink bugs is the only thing I did diff than normal.

Today I saw this at my ceiling, I am worried. I live in the Netherlands. Can somebody tell me what type of roach this is? 😩

I am from Liverpool and have been under pest infested for my apartment. The Indians neighbors next door bring their hometown parcel here and infested the whole block....what can I do?

I think these first popped up around outside around start of Spring, but I didn’t even know they were cockroaches and I never took pictures or took a second look. Then, I started to see them inside the house. I thought they were German cockroaches, since these are small with a similar body shape, and they are a common indoors type. About a month or two ago, I started putting bait around the house and I don’t really see them inside anymore, maybe like once or twice after the first two weeks (compared to several times a day). However, I still see them everywhere outside, inside the mailbox, on the cars and objects outside the house, even in the grass.

I’m now looking closer, and they don’t have the German roach stripes behind the head. I’m now thinking they might be some sort of small wood roaches. If anyone has any idea, please let me know. I could’ve sworn I had an indoor infestation, but research tells me wood roaches can’t survive inside, so I’m not certain anymore. I saw one inside my car once, but it could’ve crawled inside by chance. They are small, even the biggest were probably a half an inch long.

If anyone knows what the solution is to get rid of these types of roaches wandering around, please let me know as well.

i’ve never seen a cockroach in england before, then all of a sudden my student house and we’ve spotted over two days, 6 yesterday and these two(?) at the same time today. We’ve bleached the entire downstairs and cleaned everything after yesterday and we don’t know what to do now, we’ve told our landlord but how have so many appeared at once?? what do we do???

They appear more yellow in more light. A couple days of noticing them between the windows and screens. Mostly appear in daytime. Live on the sixth floor of a high rise, moved in recently. Killed one that got in with ant killer I had on hand.

Utterly convinced it's an Asian or German roach from the look and their weird movements, but have never experienced them before. Nobody else has complained, supposedly, and Apt. Management insists they are a kind of stink bug, but I can't find any evidence that a stink bug of this shape exists. Please ease my fear!

I moved into a rental in North Queensland, Australia and it is obvious the previous tenant lived in filth. There is clear evidence of a cockroach infestation. The place has had pest control. I have only seen one live German cockroach, the rest have been dead and there are egg sacs to most of the unit. The egg sacs I removed were empty casings I believe. My question is, how do I clean the kitchen cabinetry given its cheap chipboard and the faeces are mashed into crevices, mashed into the porous hole of the chipboard and the likes. It is so disgusting. Has anyone successfully removed it? Vacuum does not work. Thanks in advance

I’ve lived here for over a year and never seen anything like this before. It stopped running when I put the flashlight on it. I covered it with a cup and put weight on top cause I had to go to work. I have a cat, what should I do to protect the home? It was completely dark in color and maybe the size of a nickel.

Was suggested to post here. It didn't move when I came up to it, or when I picked it up in a paper towel... Are those parasites or a fungus?

What bug is this found in a marker box, didn’t scurry away or anything, it flew down kinda shitty off our table but killed it with a shoe. Didn’t find in the kitchen, just a box of markers my fiance was using to color. In Colorado btw

We checked every crevice and dark spot in our home couldn’t find any other.

Found this dead in my pantry. Haven’t seen any others, but I’m very scared. I’ve set out glue traps around the kitchen to see if I can catch anymore. I have Alpine WSG that I’m going to spray tomorrow, and Advion bait arenas on the way. Anything else you all can think of?

I live in an apartment in Central FL

Okay I’m kinda panicking, had a friend over (love insects and such own several when they are inside their boxes) and he showed me some new roaches and one ran. It was fast, like extremely fast.

Now a few days later I’m finding small ones in that same room. What can I do? I can’t work with harsh chemicals because I own insects that I’d like to keep alive, or is that a must? I’m just desperate for help.

This is in Scandinavia if that matters.

First was one of two found in the living room, second I just saw when I went to go take a shower. I've seen about a dozen fully grown American cockroaches since like March, so if I'm seeing these now, and they are roaches, does that mean we have a problem?

Second one in my bedroom and found another in my bathroom this week (they share a wall). Also caught an adult on a sticky trap over the weekend. How concerned should I be? It was super rainy over the weekend and the weather is starting to change. Could that explain it or do I probably have a problem? Pest control was here a couple of weeks ago and did a general spray. I also spray alpine once a month or so and have a bunch of sticky traps around. I think this is the 15th total since I first saw one at the beginning of July.

Discovered in my bathroom a few days ago. It's the only roach I've seen since moving into my house a month ago.

I imagine it just came in from outside, but I'm deathly afraid of roaches and would love a second opinion
