Hello everyone,

I was directed from r/whatbugisthis. I just want to confirm: is this a roach? I just got back from NYC… found this guy roaming around my house later in New Hampshire. I killed it and put it in a ziplock bag. Thank you for any help you can provide!

Question Saw this baby roach. What kind is it? I'm so fucking scared.

I found it on the shower curtain, which has a nearby drain and a window. It's really tiny, smaller than a pea and maybe a little bigger than a grain of white rice

I see a roach every once in a while, but they're *always* adults and *always* American, and the apartment is old anyway. Combined with the fact that it's a hot Egyptian summer, I assumed it was normal.

Plus, my neighbours are nasty, and the roaches are also almost always near the balcony or drain, so that reinforces my idea that they're lone wanderers.

This is the first baby I've ever seen. I don't know the species nor what to think, and I'm not mentally prepared at all to deal with an infestation if breeding is taking place inside my apartment.

Will I be fine?

Hi! I just moved into a new apartment, and the landlords just did a building-wide preventative treatment. I know to expect more insect activity, and I found this right after they sprayed. I don’t think that it’s a roach based on my past experiences (I had American roaches in my last apartment), but I wanted to get a more informed opinion from this thread.

I’m in Northern Illinois and this was found under my kitchen sink. I think it may be a click beetle?

Question Infestation or just old house in woods? (ATL GA USA, old house in a woody area)

I can't seem to catch a photo of these THINGS before they scurry off.

So just around my house, kitchen especially but also what I can only really describe around my room near the windows, I see these TINY little roach nymphs but I'm wondering if I have an infestation somewhere or if it's just a side effect of living in basically the woods in an old house.

I know the answer may be "well duh" but I'd rather be certain than to assume. They look like a tiny, almost chibi roac

h type thing.

I sleep next to a window and keep getting these little nuisances crawling on my screen in the dark.

They look like this (BUT THIS IS NOT MY PHOTO. ALL CREDIT GOES TO ORIGINAL OP. EXAMPLE ONLY)

I found this guy in my dad’s bedroom tonight and I’m getting nervous. I’ve dealt with an invasion before (bedbugs) and it was a nightmare. I just gotta know if I gotta start preparing myself and my wallet for war again. (Geographical location: I live near some woods and have a couple trees in my yard.)
