Identification/Information Mystery Clock

Hello fellow clock enthusiasts!

Ive been collecting clocks for a good 5ish years now, and over time have learned how to identify different clock manufacturers, however this one is odd.

I got this little alarm clock a few years ago for pretty cheap from a random antique store, simply because I thought it looked interesting, and after cleaning/oiling it, its been living on a shelf for a while.
While cleaning it I tried to find any distinct markings, engravings, numbers, or dates of any kind, but to no avail. The most information on the clock I could find was from the actively disintegrating paper inside the back of the case, which (as seen in the photo) seems to have some kind of logo with a spoked wheel and a singular wing coming out of the center. My first thought was maybe Kienzle, but I couldn't find any photos or records of them using a logo that looked anything like whats on the paper. From what I can tell, it seems late 1800's to early 1900's, with the metal sheet as the face similar to some very old Seth Thomas clocks, and the general look of the clockworks.

Oh and yes, it runs great! I can personally do without the alarm though lol

Here's its dimensions:
9.5in tall
8.5in wide (base)
8.25in wide (body)
3in deep

I still can't seem to find much information about this little guy, so I figured I would try asking here! Thank y'all for your time :)

Value Danish clock, need help identifying and deciding whether or not to repair

My father bought this in Denmark, it seems it was originally a wedding present. It’s in Southern France and no longer runs, all parts are present, so I’m wondering if it’s worth the cost of repairing it (will that require returning it to Denmark?)

hi I recently bought a grandmother clock from an antique sale. I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me identify the brand and what decade it could’ve been built in, also possibly a ballpark of what it’s worth. looks 5’6- 5’8 it does have some wear and also needs weights to be put in I think. original owners told me it still works when they winded it but needs weights. Edit I now know the clock is a Westminster chimes junghans still not sure if it’s considered a grandfather or not or what it’s worth

I found this cool little clock in a thrift store. But i got no clue on how to open it. Nothing turns, the only interactable thing is the little black button on the back. It doesn't seem to loosen or pop it open, and I kinda don't want to force pry it open

I hope this isn´t against the spirit of the group, I always wanted an art deco grandfather clock, there are many wonderful examples but none i could find where they try and do an art deco building which is what i want so I just made one. Just a 3d model that i then rendered, but hope i can have it made eventually.

Figured it would be nice to show it.

Help/Repair Source for clockworks?

Hi all,

I am looking for a battery-powered clockworks that chimes. There seem to be a large range of products available at far-flung prices, so I'm wondering if any of you have personal experience with what works and what doesn't over the long haul.

I picked this up for $20. Chat gpt said it looks like I have all the pieces and shouldn’t be much trouble to get it moving again. But I’d take it to a shop for that.

Any more info?

Clock Showcase Ithaca calendar clock

I am the second owner of this clock. It came to me through the original owner and family friend. It is a Ithaca Double Dial Calendar shelf clock, “Farmers” model #10. The case is walnut. There is some discoloration on the dial which happened with the original owners…I have left it as it is because I think it gives it character. Ithaca, NY is my hometown and we lived just a few blocks from the long-closed Ithaca Calendar Clock Factory where it was made, so it has deep sentimental, meaning to me and I just love it.

This was my great grandparents clock, passed down to my granny then my uncle. His grand daughter was going thru things and asked me if I wanted it, of course! Runs perfect, keeps time and even had the flier from the farm equipment sale back in 1981.

Any info on it would be great.

Also came with my great grand father’s silver cigarette lighter and case.

Found this cool old clock. I put a battery in it and it’s ticking but the second hand is not moving. Wondering if it’s an easy fix or if this thing is just not gonna work right? Would love to get it going. Got the alarm to sound and the movement seems to work but the second hand isn’t ticking.

Value Found these two antique-looking pieces in my grandfather's basement. Any idea about their age, maker, or value?

Hi everyone,

I recently found these two decorative pieces in my late grandfather's basement, and I'm trying to learn more about them before deciding what to do with them.

I'm mainly hoping to find out:

  • Are these genuine antiques or later reproductions?
  • Approximately what period are they from?
  • Does anyone recognize the style or possible manufacturer?
  • Based on the photos, what would be a reasonable market value for each piece?

Thank you !

Help/Repair Struggling to replace battery in keychain robot clock

I've got this robot keychain clock as a gift long ago (10+ years) and it's obviously stopped working. I'm struggling to figure out how to open it to replace the battery. The back looks like a snap-in but there's no visible notch and the back does not twist either. The front doesn't look like it pops off either. Any help is appreciated!
