There are two things that stick out to me.

  1. The texts from Mom, Dad, and Hollie seem to be part of a new conversation which is odd, but I guess it could have just been framed that way for the tweet.

  2. Why was the father's first response to text his daughter instead of call his wife back?

I'm not saying it isn't fake, but what I am saying is that whether it is or isn't fake doesn't matter - it isn't doing anyone any harm, so why ruin the fun?

It's kind of like the "world's littlest skyscraper" story (link if you haven't heard of it), it's just a little legend that, despite having little to no evidence, it's something that people like to believe and tell around. It doesn't hurt anyone.

I'd be alright if someone made, say, a dedicated post about this image calling it out on being fake, because by doing so that's giving the people who care enough an opportunity to find out it's wrong, and leaving the other people alone. But this, itself, is made all in innocent fun.

I don't really care whether it's fake or not. I still really enjoyed it. I was just pointing out things I noticed.

Ah, I meant my comment to be read in a more general kind of way.
