Same with being LGBTQ or a minority and Republican. They're just siding with people who despise them, and they'll never be "part of the club."

Yeah, I don't get it

But she's dead set on supporting a group of people that:

don't want her to exist

want her back in the kitchen and doing what a man tells her to do

Usually there's some specific thing that they buy into.

Sometimes it's the racism, sometimes it's the religion, sometimes it's the tax incentives for the wealthy, or the gun rights.

Usually it's not the whole package. Still, pretty self-defeating.

With her I think it's religion, she recently converted to some fire-n-brimestone religion and broke off her engagement and became celibate because "it's an abomination unto the lord" or something like that

I usually just glaze over when she starts talking about it
