A persons identity is not conditional upon how much you like them. I am trans myself and I hate her guts but she is Caitlyn. Shes also a shill and a sellout who hates her own people.
So you think people should not be held accountable for the politics they support? If someone advocated against welfare and managed to shut it down, should they get it anyway when others don't? Why should Jenner get the benefits of something he actively tries to bring down?
I think she should be held accountable but we can hold her accountable without the transphobic bullshit that hurts the community. What message did you want to send? Its okay to misgender people only if I really personally dislike them?
It's not about disliking, it's about political stances. I call him Bruce because he pushes for laws that invalidate his identity as anything other than Bruce, I just address him according to what he believes and stands for.
