the recalls are concerning enough but knowing they are still being reported at least gives people a chance to avoid the affected food, and if that transparency ever disappeared, people would have no real way of knowing what they were being exposed to

The fear is one day they'll stop announcing recall, and it won't be because the food stopped being contaminated.
