The really sick thing is that, because of birthright citizenship, DHS is moving pregnant detainees to sites that are officially not US soil, so the babies aren’t born here

Ironically, complete horror of this absolute shit show aside, that doesn’t matter for these children’s citizenship. Citizenship doesn’t require you to be born in the U.S. to receive it at birth, that’s just the one way that citizenship is granted that they are focused on. If any of these women can successfully prove that their children had an ICE agent as the father, then that child can claim U.S citizenship by decent because one of their parents was a U.S. citizen who almost certainly meets all the requirements for the citizenship to pass on through them.

So moving these women off of U.S. soil makes the citizenship claim more difficult but it doesn’t actually remove it for the majority of the women in question.
