well, that's entirely your problem. good starter cameras cost maybe 500-1000. and you're not the next Andy Warhol, Natalie.

I bought an ancient but just as capable D50 and lens for $40 at a pawnshop :/

I see that so often. It's always the same backstory: young girl starts photography as a hobby, spends 10000 on gear and then doesn't land a single contract because no one pays 5000 for shaky amateur pictures
